I found myself moments later in the living room, seated across from Mum and Dad was Jack Brown.
He had a smile on his face, and from the look on everyone's face, my heart dropped. I knew it was indeed something different from what I had anticipated.
I moved over to take my seat, almost next to where Mum sat.
My eyes fixed on them in confusion, when Mum turned to me, handing me the little bag in her hand.
"This is the medicine he brought for you. It would help relieve you while you are closely monitored," Mum said, and I let down my saliva and received the bag, keeping it by my side.
I knew that wasn't just the only case; something else wasn't right, from the way they all sat.
"I know it would be hard on you now, but just try to look into the matter. And you would see we want the best for you as well as for the family," Dad said, but I stared, confused, trying to piece every word together.
"Dad, Mum, I don't understand. What's going on?" I asked, calmly.
