Agnes pov:
I woke in the morning feeling refreshed. I had my morning prayers and went to the bathroom to get some water for Lilly and freshen up. After finishing my private concert in the bathroom,I went to get ready for work.
After making sure that I took everything necessary, I went to Tina's room with Lilly in my arms. Knock!knock!, that was the sound that echoed when I knocked on the door.
After I had knocked,I heard Tina voice telling me that she was coming.
After about a minute, a blond haired and a green eyed lady came out of the apartment,my best friend. She looked very beautiful in her uniform with her blond hair packed in her ponytail.
Justina Cole,that was the name on her identification card, identification card! I forgot to wear mine. " Good morning, wait I want to get my identification card" Before she could reply,I dropped Lilly in her hands and dashed into my apartment. I saw the identification card on the bed and immediately put it on before going to meet Tina outside.
"Sorry,for dashing like that. I forgot to wear my identification card" I said to Tina as soon I saw her.
" I figured. Old habits die hard, don't they?" Tina replied and we both laughed.
Back when we were still in high school, I would usually get punished for not putting on my identification card.
We exited the complex and went to drop Lilly with Tiana. We got to the hotel quite early, after dropping our belongings in our locker, i went to Mrs snow to give her my bank account number.
"Good morning ma,this is the account number you requested for" I said to Mrs snow presenting the bank account number to her.
"Good morning miss Agnes" she said as she collected the paper on which I wrote my account number on." Okay you can leave".
After leaving Mrs snow, I went to meet Tina so that we can begin to work.
The days went by quickly since when I meet Tina. She was a blessing in my life and I don't think I could ever regret having her as a friend.
Two weeks after,on a Saturday,Tina decided to take me out. We went to place I have never seen. On the morning of the day,we were meet to go out. Tina came to my apartment to help me pick an outfit to wear.
"You should wear this jeans and top,the jeans matches with your eyes" Tina said while checking out the cloth I have. "Anything goes" I shrugged. I never cared about what I wore,as long as I have something to wear.
"You still have this your 'I don't care attitude' " Tina said with a frown on her face."Come on,who's looking at me and stop frowning you look uglier" I said teasing her. She is one of the most beautiful lady I have ever come across and I just joking around calling her ugly " I will show you ugly" she said tackling me down to tickle me." Stop..I am..sorry" I said laughing in between the words I spoke."Please,my ribs are starting to hurt" I said before Tina consider getting of me. "Gosh Tina,I am never calling you ugly again" I said with my hands in the air as a sign of surrendering." Better,go change into these so that we can leave early" Tina said as she threw the clothes she picked earlier at me." Okay milady" I said as I bowed "Get out you unserious thing" Tina said playfully and I laughed as I went to the bathroom to change.
