Main characters? How many of them were there in "The Hero in a Ruined World"?
Seth Dorian, Yuri M. Valemont, Clarisse Ravenswood.
They were the first three characters who appeared at the beginning, and they were "Chosen" who came from another world.
But why do I call them "Chosen"? Well, that's because those three are the only main characters who come from another world.
Adel Zogratis and Diana D. Reynnolds.
They were the two original characters from this world. They were not Chosen and, therefore, did not come from another world.
They do not have access to the Survival Window nor to the Scenarios.
But…
They were the characters with the fastest power growth in the entire novel, even becoming stronger than the Chosen themselves.
Both characters had a role that made them unique and powerful.
