Noah sat next to Michael and turned up the Volume of the movie since the vibration of his phone was distracting.
Michael chose not to answer the call, no matter how many times his mother called, and she did not stop trying.
The phone kept vibrating because Michael had placed it on silent. He wanted to switch it off, but he decided to let his mother suffer a bit.

This desperation that she had over her sons ' well-being. This anger he felt from her when she demanded an answer. This anxiety... He wished she would have it on his behalf, but it was just a pipe dream.
Mark was her son, not him. They had disowned him, so why were they still calling him? Why were they asking him about that bastard? And why were they calling him his brother?
