Clara stared at Crescentia with a perplexed look. It was almost as if the Crescentia she was looking at wasn't the one she knew, the Crescentia who would think twice before breaking a curfew.
Clara wanted to lash out once again but gave up on the idea because it seemed Crescentia had already made up her mind and there was nothing she was going to say that would change it.
"If you say so," Clara said, fist clenched by her side. She waited for a second, hesitating to say what she knew about Damian. But then that man could eliminate her if he deemed fit. So she slowly backed away and left.
Crescentia exhaled deeply, worried about where Clara was going again and what she was going to do.
