The air was electric with anticipation as Yumi and Luna faced off in the heart of the arena. The crowd's roar was a distant hum, drowned out by the pounding of their own hearts. This was a clash of titans, a battle of wits, strength, and strategy.
Luna, the Typhoon, cracked her knuckles, a fierce grin spreading across her face. "You're going down, Yumi!" she declared, her voice carrying across the arena like a challenge.
Yumi, his eyes blazing with determination, smiled calmly. "We'll see about that, Luna. Your Kigen technique is impressive, but I've been studying your patterns. I know your weaknesses."
With a burst of speed, Luna conjured a trampoline beneath her feet, launching herself into the air. Yumi countered by placing his hand on the ground, summoning spikes that shot out at high speeds like a deadly hail of steel. Luna dodged and weaved, bouncing back with ease, her movements a testament to her incredible agility.
Luna's eyes flashed with a fierce light as she whispered, "Time to get serious. Stacking level 3." Suddenly, three trampolines compressed and stacked under her feet, and she zoomed past Yumi so fast he could only see a blur.
Yumi spun around, his eyes widening as he saw Luna leaning on his back, her face barely visible through her untied yellow hair and arua. "You're done, Yumi. It's over," she whispered, her voice dripping with confidence.
Yumi's face twisted in a snarl as he swung backwards, his fist aiming for Luna's head. But Luna simply bounced over him, disappearing into the sky like a ghost.
Luna looked down at Yumi, her hair flowing behind her like a golden river, her eyes blazing with a fierce inner light. She stood on a massive arua trampoline, its surface rippling with energy. "She can stack and increase the size of her trampolines?" Yumi wondered, his mind reeling with the implications.
Luna's voice carried down from above, her words dripping with contempt. "Size level 5." The trampoline beneath her feet expanded, its surface growing larger and more unstable.
Luna compressed the trampoline into her feet and launched herself at Yumi, her knee flashing towards his face like a deadly comet. Yumi barely had time to react, transforming his body into metal as he raised his arm to block the attack.
The impact was immense, the force of Luna's knee sending Yumi crashing to the ground. He struggled to rise, but Luna was already standing over him, her foot pressed against his head. "You Goldins shouldn't be on the battlefield," she spat, her words cutting at Yumi's pride and heart like a blade. "You're only useful for building and defense. Don't forget your place."
Yumi's eyes blazed with anger as he used the Aruakinesis style Jigen technique, forming spikes on the ground that grazed Luna's cheek as she jumped back. "You don't know what you're talking about!" Yumi shouted, his voice echoing across the arena. "Who are you to dictate which race does what? Tell me Luna do you think the Blue flame was set on which race is next to become its next ignitor. No! It says in the proffesy that whoever has a pure heart and is the strongest is worthy!! Right now the warrior before me isn't though."
Luna's eyes narrowed, her face twisted in a snarl. "I'm the one who's going to win and you yourself are not strong enough to say Im not worthy! " she spat.
Yumi's eyes flashed with determination as he transformed the entire ring into gold, his overflowing arua creating a domain that was uniquely his own. "Golden dust," he whispered, the air filling with a deadly mist that blocked out the sun.
Luna charged forward, but the golden dust formed a wall that protected Yumi, blocking her attacks from every angle. Yumi's voice carried across the arena, his words dripping with confidence. "This is it, Luna. You lose."
With a snap of his fingers, the golden dust formed spears that pierced Luna's body, mid-jump. She fell to the floor, bleeding and disoriented, the toxic golden dust filling the air.
The crowd erupted into cheers as Yumi stood victorious, his chest heaving with exhaustion. He had proven himself to be a true warrior, one who would stop at nothing to emerge victorious.
