Chapter 125 – Fight Against The Devourer
Belzebuth's eyes narrowed in confusion before widening, surprised.
"You… You're still alive?" he asked, genuine disbelief lacing his voice.
And indeed, he had every reason to be surprised. He had left this girl to die. He hadn't killed her himself—but he certainly hadn't expected her to survive.
His expression hardened.
"You're that whore's daughter."
Zara's face remained calm. His words didn't pierce her the way she once feared they might.
"I am," she said. "But aren't I your daughter too? Or do you not consider me that?"
She asked not to provoke—but simply to know. Just to understand how the man who helped create her truly saw her.
Did he see as a tool like her mother ?
Or just…nothing?
Noah stood silently. This wasn't his moment. Not yet. He took a step back—watching, ready.
Belzebuth tilted his head.
SCOFF—!
He laughed, loud and bitter.
"My daughter? You're not worth the title."
