Episode 20: The Throne War Begins
The Empire of Valor was no longer ruled by an emperor—it was ruled by chaos.
With the Emperor's health failing, the 7 Princes and 3 Princesses turned the empire into a battlefield.
Each one believed they were the rightful heir. Each one was willing to kill for it.
---
The First Strike – The 3rd Prince's Rebellion
The 3rd Prince was the first to make his move.
With his armies of war veterans, he seized the Western Territories, declaring himself the new ruler.
"My father is as good as dead! The empire needs a warrior, not a dying old man!" he declared.
His forces stormed imperial outposts, cutting down anyone who refused to submit.
In response, the 1st Prince, the Emperor's chosen heir, marched to crush him.
Their armies clashed in a bloody battle, the sound of steel ringing across the empire.
---
The Other Contenders Move
While the 1st and 3rd Princes battled, the other Princes and Princesses made their own moves.
The 2nd Prince, known for his cunning, bought off the 3rd Prince's generals, turning their loyalty.
The 4th Prince, a master of strategy, fortified the Southern Strongholds, preparing for a prolonged war.
The 5th Prince, feared for his cruelty, massacred nobles who opposed him.
The 6th Prince, hidden in the shadows, recruited assassins and spies to eliminate rivals.
The 7th Prince, cold and calculating, waited. He had no need for rushed battles—his war would be one of precision and control.
Meanwhile, the Princesses were not to be underestimated:
The 1st Princess, a diplomat, forged secret alliances with foreign powers.
The 2nd Princess, a ruthless tactician, seized control of the imperial treasury, starving her brothers of resources.
The 3rd Princess, a warrior, led an elite unit of knights, striking fear into her enemies.
---
The 7th Prince Makes His Move
The 7th Prince had been patient. Now, it was his turn.
One night, while the 3rd Prince and 1st Prince's armies were locked in battle, he struck.
He sent mercenaries disguised as 3rd Prince's men to infiltrate the 1st Prince's camp.
By dawn, the 1st Prince's most trusted commanders were dead.
Confusion spread. The 1st Prince's army collapsed.
The 3rd Prince believed he had won.
But then, his own generals turned against him.
The 2nd Prince's bribes had worked. The 3rd Prince was betrayed from within.
By the end of the day, the 3rd Prince was dead—stabbed through the heart.
And from the shadows, the 7th Prince watched, smiling.
---
The War Has Truly Begun
The Empire of Valor was now in full-scale civil war.
Only one ruler could claim the throne.
And the 7th Prince vowed that it would be him.
