Kai's eyes fluttered open as he stretched his body.
He slowly surveyed the tunnel. Seeing no one around, he allowed himself to relax slightly.
[Kai doesn't shower anyone with anything.]
Smiling softly, he replied while ruffling Legion's wolflike fur, "Thanks, Legion."
[Did you just laugh? You do realize I'm your older sister, right?]
[Yes, I am your glorious elder sister. Do you understand now?]
[Yes.]
Kai's smile broadened at their banter. "Damn, you two are messing with my head."
Pushing himself to his feet, he stretched his arms while letting out a yawn.
"That nap was necessary," he muttered before pulling out his phone. Upon seeing the notifications from both Elia and the school, he quickly tapped "read all."
