Only after he was gone did the tension begin to ease—but the stares remained, this time shifting to Wooyun. Some of curiosity, some of annoyance, and some of cautious interest.
Wooyun lifted his chin slightly and exhaled through his nose. He knew very well how much he'd need to swallow his pride in front of these little kids. As the adult in the room, the last thing he was going to do was entertain these children.
His job was clear. Listen to the instructor and do as he is told. And so, he smiled at them, not too friendly that it looked like he wanted to be friends with them, but not too cold that he looked hostile.
"Thank you for joining us for training young master Seo-yoon. To start, we will have a sparring match between the eight of you as a way to warm up—not just your bodies, but each other." The instructor explained.
Ugh, that's…unfortunate phrasing. Wooyun couldn't help thinking.
