I raised my head up from the many scrolls I was reading when the door to my office pushed open and Michael peeped around. "What are you doing here?" I dropped the scroll I held in my hand down and leaned back on my chair. My eyes bore into his skin as he closed the door behind him and started to walk towards me.
"I've been searching all around for you?" He said still yet to answer my question.
"Different question." I murmured.
He pulled the chair in his front back and sat down. "I found Jayden." He said and exhaled. "I've trying to reach out to you but your number wasn't getting through and you blocked off any disturbance so I couldn't reach out to you through mind link."
"Today is a Monday." I said in response to the reason why he couldn't get to me.
"Is that the reason why you keep changing your reading spot?" He scoffed and folded his arms across his chest.
"None of your business." I snapped and he scoffed again. "Whatever."
