After Gael left, Maxwell glared at his son and said, "You act as if you had loved Henrick more than him. Just because he doesn't express his pain doesn't mean he does not feel it. Your words today have destroyed whatever relationship you could have had with that boy."
"Father...."
Maxwell interrupted him coldly. "If Gael leaves with my great-grandson, then know that I will never forgive you." He shifts his gaze to Diana, who was holding her husband's hand, and then shakes his head before leaving the living room.
"Do you need a drink?" Diana asked her husband.
Samuel glared at Diana. "I just found out that my son is dead, and you are asking me if I need a drink?"
Diana shrugged and replied, "What do you want me to do? Cry along with you? Maybe it was our son, whom Henrick had killed before he had the chance to enter this world, that did this. Perhaps he finally took the life of the one who had taken his."
"You are crazy."
Diana chuckled. "And you love me that way."
