Logan walked towards the kitchen with his intimidating aura cloaking behind him.
The maids working in the kitchen quickly stopped what they were doing, bowing their heads in deep respect.
"Welcome Master"! They all said in unison. But as usual, Logan ignored them and walked towards the sink and turned on the tap.
The maids were taken aback by what their master was doing. They didn't dare question him until he spoke and what he said froze them all sending ice chills down their spines.
"If anyone of you should try helping my wife escape, that person will be killed ". He said coldly and void of any emotion.
Is that clear? He asked in a threatening tone that made the maids turned tense, his black eyes turned icy than a blister.
Yes master. Everyone said bowing deeply in respect and fear of what their master will do.
Jones! ! He called the old man came head bow.
Tell Chess to release Flora, and she too report to my study room by 8 in the morning. He ordered coldly.
Yes master. Jones said bowing his head. While Logan walked out of the kitchen and went to the dinning to get a glass of warm milk. Ever since he has find out about her likeness for sugary warm milk, he has ordered his workers to always have warm milk placed on the dinning table.
He poured the warm milk from the jug inside a glass cup before going back upstairs. On reaching the fifth floor, he went towards the black door and unlock it. On entering inside, he picked up a lamp and turned it on to see Hannah's lifeless body covered in blood on the floor.
The glass of milk he was holding abruptly and unconsciously fell as the milk splatter every where and the glass breaking into shreds.
He rushed towards her and carried her like a princess.
"Please be alive, he said".
The blood on her abdomen was gushing non stop as she had lost a lot of blood. He dashed out of the room and left the mansion, heading towards his Bentley.
One of the chauffeur, without the need to be told, rushed and opened the car for the couple while Logan sat on the driver's seat.
He started the engine of the car and sped off like a bullet. He was driving on the highway like a speedy bullet and he hastily brought out his phone and wanted to call Caroline, because he knew how much Caroline liked his wife unlike Brielle who has brute hatred towards her.
After a few rings, her sleepy voice came into existence.
"Strangely, you called me". She said.
It's emergency. Hannah had an accident. He said and the sleepy voice of Caroline was wiped off and she asked in a panicked tone.
"WHAT? ! ! " HOW? She asked shocked and panicked, fear was evident in her voice. The last time she had seen her was the first time she stepped foot into the Emerson mansion and since then she hadn't seen her. She always wondered why she hasn't heard from her and to top it all, her brother was brutally notorious and dominating. He is a forced person that threatens people to get what he wants done with immediate effect. So now hearing that Hannah had an accident was something so unbelievably shocking.
"Which hospital?" She asked.
My private hospital. I can't take her to the family private hospital. He said and Caroline was about to ask another question when Logan spoke again,
"Tell Charles to bring you , I need to see him urgently". He said and Caroline rolled her eyes at his words. She knew where he was getting at with what he said.
"Alright then". I'm coming. She said and ended the call.
While Logan drove away to the hospital. On reaching the hospital,
He hastily got down and carried the unconscious girl that was covered in excess blood inside the hospital.
The nurses saw him and quickly wheeled an emergency bed for him to place her on the bed and the nurses wheeled her to the operation theatre(OT).
Logan was so torn. He had wanted to punish her but who would have thought she would end up in a hospital. "Please stay alive". He muttered under his breath. His white T-shirt was soaked in her own blood. If he had known the wound was deep and severe , he would have brought her to the hospital.
He remained seated on the chair with head bent on his knees. His black hair was already disheveled with some strands that fell on his eye brows.

In the Emerson mansion,
Caroline got down from her bed and went to the bathroom to quickly have a bath. After her bath, she came out wearing her robe. Sh walked towards her wardrobe and brought out a green knee length ball gown and wore it.
After wearing it, she grabbed her phone and her car keys and left her room. As she stepped out of her room, she froze on her steps when her eyes fell on Grandma Emerson.
"Grandma, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? You are supposed to be resting your legs. " Caroline said with a calm tone. She was glad that the hallway light have been turned off.
Grandma Emerson smiled.
"I was just about going to my room,what about you, where are you heading to by this time of the night?" She asked, and Caroline felt as though she was been electrocuted.
"No where Grandma ". She lied. She felt as though grandma was watching her every move.
"Okay, but..." Her grandma paused.
Caroline was more than happy that her grandmother was not suspecting her. But her happiness was cut short with the next words that left her grandma lips,
".....drive safely".
Caroline froze. How the hell does her grandma knows she was leaving the mansion? !
G-grandma,how...d....I d you - know? She stuttered.
Even though the hallway lights are off, I can smell your perfume on your body. And the way you are acting all hastily so as not to be caught says it all dear, am I right? Grandma Emerson said and Caroline felt embarrassed to the core that her grandmother knew that she was leaving the mansion to go out.
"Thank you Granny,good night". Caroline said and her grandma hugged her before pulling away.
"Safe journey sweetheart". She said and Caroline smiled before walking away.
While Grandma Emerson went back to her room to rest after staying in the garden for so long.
