Arthur stared at the dark body, or at least, the remains of it.
Unsurprisingly, the body had faded into dark mist as soon as its head was separated from its neck.
The same thing that had happened with the last one.
"Before it went, it muttered something about just being a clone."
"But from it's tone, it acted more like it was oblivious to the fact that it was, until it was decapitated that is."
He murmured.
He wasn't sure if it was saying that because it actually realized it was a clone, or it was just at the futility of its effort and the fact that it truly was a clone.
He didn't know.
The dagger that he had thrown at the man had been discarded some distance away from the alleyway, it wasn't hard for him to track it.
"Is this really a cloning spell?"
Arthur couldn't help but wonder.
If it was, it could be a problem. Giving the clones substance and allowing them to act on their own.
