Jaymir gathered some plants, that Malerin and him picked. Jaymir walked toward the captured beast. He waved the plants and herbs before the captured beast to see its reaction. One herb after another the beast growled and snarled at him until Jaymir picked up a certain herb and waved it before the beast. The beast cowards in fear, covering its nose and trying to get away from the herb.
Jaymir looked back at Malerin and O'garth with a wide smile and explained, "See, there is always an alternative solution to things, and now we can get Bumbleweed back to normal."
Malerin looks at the trapped beast with concern and adds, "What are we going to do with this Laverion? We are not going to kill it, are we?" Jaymir looks into Malerin's eyes, which were pleading for a decent answer, while watering up with tears. He announces, "Of course not, we are letting it go."
O'garth interrupts the two, 'Wait, hold on a second." Jaymir and Malerin both look at O'garth, as he continues, "What do you mean we are not killing it? You know these things are a threat to Bumbleweed, right?" Jaymir nodded with confidence, "Yes, I know, but you do not have to worry, they will leave the town of Bumbleweed alone after I am done."
Jaymir walks over with the herbs that the beast couldn't stand cutting the beast free from the net. The Laverion retreats from Jaymir as it was escaping the smell of the herb, but it looked back at Jaymir. O'garth readied his weapon and Malerin coward behind the two men, but Jaymir shooed him off as he said, "Don't let me regret my decision, live another day, go back home to your pack."
The Laverion stared into Jaymir's eyes. After a while, the Laverion grunted and growled, but turned away and disappeared into the forest. Jaymir turns to Malerin and shows off the herb as he explains, "We need more of these."
Malerin looks at the herb Jaymir showed off and tilts her head asking, "What? Baw Banes? Why? They are nothing special." Jaymir explains to her, "Actually, they are. The Laverions cannot stand the aroma from these Baw Banes." O'garth walks up to the herb and looks at it with confusion, tilting his head to the side as he says with curiosity, "really? These plants can scare them off?"
Jaymir nods and looks at the plant he was showing off. The herb called Baw Bane, this herb was a stim of leaves that reeked of bitterness, thou the stim was strong and green, the leaves were long and thin with a triple point on the tip of the leaf. Jaymir never saw an herb or plant like this before. This was a new discovery even for him. he wanted to study it, and he wanted to find more of this herb for both the benefit of Bumbleweed and him.
Despite O'garth questioning the plant, he let Malerin and Jaymir continue to search for this herb. He was putting his full trust in Jaymir not only because Jaymir was helping him with his investigation, or he was just keeping a close eye on Jaymir, something told him in his gut to trust Jaymir. That this human could help Bumbleweed with the dying tree and the Laverion problems.
It took most of the day, but they gathered all the herbs they needed to help Bumbleweed and even some other herbs to get Malerin's flower and herb cart back to normal.
They all traveled back to Bumbleweed and got back to the middle of the town, where the withering tree was. Malerin gave Jaymir the baskets of Baw Bane, and O'garth rented out a room in the tavern for Jaymir for a week. Malerin set her flower and herb cart back up, so we can get back into business, while O'garth was in the room he rented out for Jaymir. However, Jaymir was not expecting O'garth to give him a room, and the look on his face was of shock.
Yet, O'garth warned Jaymir, "I am trusting you, Human, whatever you're planning to do, it's better benefit Bumbleweed." Jaymir smiles and gives a gentle nod, "I understand, O'garth, but don't worry, I would never harm anyone here in Bumbleweed."
O'garth walks out of his room but looks back at Jaymir and says with a serious tone, "Good..." then continues to step out of his room and head out of the tavern.
