I tried to get Belle to come with me as well, cause I believed that if she or any slave was there with me, the vile princess would hesitate before hitting me. However, Belle shook her head and stepped away from me even more.
"The princess might think I lack manners if I show up when she had yet to specifically send for me to come get my own reward. So, I think you should go on your own. It's gonna be alright so there's no reason to be afraid or expect anything harmful or scary." As Belle spoke, if I wasn't so nervous right now I'd have scoffed.
