"Oh." I whispered in response to that and the prince hummed. I nodded awkwardly because I didn't know what to say right now. I was currently reeling in shock over my revelation. If this man was the prince's butler and was working on getting me to infiltrate the prince's wing, that means he wasn't loyal to the prince and might even be dangerous to the prince.
Do I tell the prince about the man right now? Something foreign was pushing me to, even though it was clearly stupid because I still clearly remember the warnings given to me that day right after I was told of the fact that I'd be repaying them for sparing my life by doing whatever they asked of me and if I dared to tell anyone about all that they told me, that I'd be killed without hesitation. I hadn't doubted them and I still don't.
