I found reano at the libraries edge, indulging in some of the ancient books in the library, clearly annoyed. I walked up to him, looking around to see all the eyes and people around the library. I knew we couldn't talk here. Too many listeners. I grabbed his arm causing him to look up. He was going to say something but I silenced him with a glance. I looked around the library. He caught on quickly. He glanced at the dusty black book with a different symbol in each corner. I looked at the library door and he followed me out. As I quickly walked down the hallway trying to to find somewhere to talk when he grabbed my arm. He pulled me into the old computer lab that wasn't used anymore and shut the door behind him.
Reano: what's going on? What did you find
Kumiko: look, long story short, I know exactly what is going on
Reano: what? But I searched the library top to bottom and found nothing?
Kumiko: I found a ancient library with a magic circle, basically I accidentally summoned a elf and he told me all about what was going on
Reano: an elf? I don't believe that, they are extinct
Kumiko: you don't have to believe me, read this I held up the book with the four symbols on it
Reano: I was meaning to ask, what is that. It's so dusty
Kumiko: I told you, a ancient library. It was pretty cool
Reano: alright I'll bite, what's in the book
Kumiko: I walked over to a table and sat down, reano sitting across from me I was told it's all the answers we need, legolien explained it too me already
Reano: legolien?
Kumiko: the elf
Reano: oh....
Reano grabbed the book from me and opened it. The first page of the book had a magic circle picture on it with words around it and to the side of it. At the top it read "sealment spell". This is probably what was used to seal these beast for so long.
Reano looked up at me confused so I explained in detail what I was told as we read the book. After awhile we found the answers we needed and the final school bell rung. I stood up and reano handed me the book. I put it in my satchel next to the green gem that I still hadn't known how it got in there.
When we left the computer lab we came across Tex and Yuri down the hall. Yuri basically jumped on me like she always did as tex calmly followed her. We talked for a bit as we walked, talking about the latest drama in the school since Yuri loved that topic. She suddenly started speaking about me and reano which immediately gained attention.
Yuri: apparently someone saw kumiko in the downstairs library pulling a bookshelf out and looking around. then they saw you two grabbing each other's arms and heading into the abandoned computer lab?
Kumiko: what? who said that?
Reano: I don't like what that's implying
Yuri: yeah, the people in the after school programs are talking non-stop about it
Tex: what were you guys doing in the abandoned computer lab anyway?
Reano: nothing!
Tex: doesn't sound like nothing
Kumiko: we were going over a topic we both had questions about
Yuri: oooooo~ what was that topic~ she raised her eyebrows up and down multiple times
Kumiko: no. Absolutely not. I looked at reano, he sighed then nodded
Reano: go ahead and tell them about the book
Tex: book?
Kumiko: I pulled out the dusty old book and held it so the could see I found this old book towards the back of the library and it looked weird, apparently reano recognized one of the symbols so we went to the computer lab to see if we could find anything
Reano: strictly research
Yuri: if you say so kumi
Kumiko: Yuri I will slap you silly girl
Tex: please do. She's been like this all day
We all kept talking about random things for a bit before I decided the drama was too much. Tex had invited reano to hang out later and Yuri had family plans so I didn't have anything to do after school. I decided to go wander the same woods that I fell into a dungeon in a couple weeks ago, hoping to find something. When I split off from then I went straight there, looking around and trying to see if I forgot anything. Nothing. I end up sitting with my back to the trunk of a tree, grabbing the book out of my satchel. I opened it and started reading through, trying to find things of value. Many things were in a language that I couldn't understand.....they were random symbols. One of the sentences just said "ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ʖᒷᔑᓭℸ ̣ ᓭ ᔑ∷ᒷ ╎リᓵ∷ᒷ↸╎ʖꖎ|| !¡𝙹∴ᒷ∷⎓⚍ꖎ, ⍑𝙹∴ᒷ⍊ᒷ∷ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ╎∷ !¡∷ᒷᓭᒷリᓵᒷᓭ ⍑ᔑᓭ ʖᒷᒷリ ꖎ𝙹ᓭℸ ̣ ℸ ̣ 𝙹 ℸ ̣ ╎ᒲᒷ". What does that even mean!?
