Steven gave Ethan a puzzled look, to which Ethan quickly explained, "Some kids thank those who give them gifts by calling them their sugar daddy, so..."
Thus, she would give the ‘Daddy’ title to whoever gave her more gifts.
In the past, Steven would never spend money for such a reason, and he would even dislike such flattering tactics.
But somehow, hearing Emma on the screen call him dad made his heart soften quite a bit. Moreover, he had the urge to hear it more.
But then someone started sending more gifts.
Thinking about what Ethan said about how whoever sent her more gifts would be called her dad, he felt a little uncomfortable. Thus, he quickly moved his fingers, sending out more and more carnival gifts.
Ethan was so shocked that he almost dropped his jaw.
Emma was extremely happy; seeing all these gifts meant Steven liked her a lot.
