"His separation happened that day. There was a reason why he didn't understand the sadness of her death, and it's still a mystery. There's a reason behind that, isn't there?" Aizis spoke up.
"After they took Raizel with them, he became a soldier in the army of the world. As he was a magic expert from an early age, they didn't hesitate to put him at the front of deadly wars. Despite his age, they sent him to face countless deadly battles.
He was quite different from us. Endless torture, wounds, and suffering couldn't stop him. He was like a weapon that kept running as long as it could. The same is true for Raizel—he fights until he dies. The only way to stop him is to kill him.
After spending countless years in battle and taking orders from his master, his mentality shifted. He now only takes orders from others and devours anything and everything. He lost his sense of self at that point and no longer understood his own value. He saw himself as a tool. The negative effects of the wars and destruction over countless years completely changed him into what he is now," Aizis took a breath while speaking calmly.
"He is now at a point where, if someone orders him to kill his own parents, he would do it. I don't understand how he thinks, but I can feel the endless storm of pain in his heart, which has completely blocked the concept of emotion and love.
After spending so many years like this, I met him on a battlefield where I was nothing more than a spectator. When I saw him for the first time, I didn't see him as a heartless warrior who only fought and destroyed everything. I saw him as a soft-hearted person who was forced to be heartless. I observed him for a while. After a few days, I took him away from the army. But I was never good enough to remove the curse from his heart, to give him a taste of actual life. Maybe it's not my job to do that. Since then, I've been with him. I think of him as my one and only friend—the friend I've been searching for since that certain time, the friend I wanted to meet. But there's an emptiness in our relationship, an emptiness in our understanding of each other. While I think of him as my friend, he thinks of me as his master, which hurts me the most. And that's why I'm waiting for someone—someone who will remove the curse from his heart and teach him the concepts of emotion and love. I believe someone will come and do it one day. I'm waiting for that day," Aizis said gently, there was a sight of sadness in his eyes.
"After ascending to the position of supreme ruler, I've been following Raizel and fighting alongside him for a while. But we had to stop at a certain point—someone blocked our way. After our deaths, we reincarnated here, and Muzan took the position of supreme ruler. He's been working as our delegate until now. He's a loyal soldier, the most loyal soldier I've ever seen, and that's why Raizel believed in him and allowed him to become the supreme ruler," Aizis stopped.
While telling all of this, he was smiling a fake smile—a smile of sadness and pain.
Marco kept staring at Aizis's face, completely shaken.
As Aizis spoke, Maria couldn't hold back her tears. She started crying silently.
"Why? Why? Why was his fate like this? Why did the whole world use him like this? Why did they only use him? Why?" Maria said in a broken voice as she cried.
Aizis smiled a bit.
"Don't cry, Maria. The world treated him like a weapon, but one day, they'll treat him like a true person. A person who will turn this ruthless world into a paradise. I believe he can do it," Aizis said calmly. Even though he was smiling, the sadness in his eyes was clearly visible.
"Yeah, I believe in him. He will do it. One day, he will do it," Marco agreed, smiling—a smile full of hope and happiness.
''The strongest are praised by all, the weakest—by none. The wealthy are adored, while the poor are often overlooked. But I wonder, are any of them truly at peace? No, none of them. The strongest yearn to feel the freedom of weakness; the weakest dream of the strength they've never known. The wealthy grow curious about the quiet joys of the poor, while the poor imagine the pleasures the rich must hold. And so, the world spins in a quiet hunger—for the unknown, the unexperienced. In that endless pursuit, the very notion of satisfaction fades, hidden beneath our longing to grasp what lies just beyond reach." Aizis thought to himself.
As they chatted, they reached the front of a huge castle where a banquet was taking place. They saw a familiar face there. It was Raizel.
Aizis caught Raizel's attention first.
"Raizel? What are you doing here?" Aizis asked.
"Well, Dad told me to meet him here, so I'm here. I haven't found him yet," Raizel replied.
"Well, that's good. Let's find him together," Aizis said with a decent smile.
Both Maria and Marco approached them, smiling.
They walked toward the inside of the castle, which was decorated with many types of lights.
Their sight was lost inside the castle.
Someone appeared from the shadows, his entire body covered in a mysterious darkness.
"Aizis, you've changed, haven't you?" the shadow spoke in a deep voice, there was a sight of happiness in the voice.
Then, the figure vanished back into the shadows.
Someone started speaking into a microphone, and everyone inside the castle and surrounding areas focused on the voice.
A familiar voice.
"The purple shadow remained silent and mysterious, even as the king returned to his throne. Perhaps there's more to be done—something still unresolved.'' Aizis said in his mind.
"Raizel may have reclaimed his throne, may have stepped into his destiny, but the story isn't over. Not yet. Something remains unfinished... something even he doesn't fully understand.
This is just the beginning of Edward Raizel's journey. One chapter has closed, one cycle complete—but the story itself has only just begun.'' Aizis added.
"A story written by someone unknown, someone hidden in the dark. And when the time comes, it will be Raizel who writes its final line—Raizel who brings it to its end." Aizis concluded.
