The smug face of Ellie's was indigestible for me but there was nothing I could do a except for blowing my nostrils. I did not want to waste my time in idle talk, so I decided to just turn my body and continue my walk in the direction I was originally planning to go. Seeing me Hoover also started to tread with me. After taking three steps, I sensed that there were four other feet walking behind us, Emma and Elizabeth also wanted to walk with us. Seeing this I became worried for Emma, "Aren't you going to be punished for this? You are our leader you know! You are supposed to thrash us for doing weird things, not supposed to be a part of our mischief."
Emma put a smirk and mocking expression on her face, "You are worried about me? Mind you we are doing this for the last six days!!"
She covered her lips with her hands.
"What? You also want to fight deadly deathodds?"
"We have been doing that on our day duty, we search for the food at night!" Emma widened her arms, acting like she is an angel.
"Oh, I see. But we are not going to search for food! We are going to kill some deathodds. We couldn't kill a single advance deathodd, a spectacular is out of question!"
"Don't you guys know that there are almost no advance class deathodds at night. The whole duty of morning patrollers was to kill all the deadly threats in day light, so night patrollers don't have to deal with crazy monsters."
Ellie shrugged with disappointment. "O-of course we know that! We just wanted to try and see for ourselves." The silent Hoover answered Ellie's disappointment.
"Forget about that, and don't worry if someone finds us wandering at night. Captain had told me to gather the demolishers by tomorrow afternoon as the mission is almost a complete success, and our time has also been completed; she was also saying to expect good news!" Emma smiled happily while saying that.
"Good news!? What good news, is someone pregnant? Hahahahahahaha!"
Nobody responded to Hoover's dumb and stupid joke as not a single one of us found his joke funny. Emma grimaced after hearing the sentence and had tightly narrowed eyes.
Seeing that none of us found his joke funny Hoover lowered his head in embarrassment and whispered, "I am sorry, please continue."

After hiding ourselves from the bully trio, we wandered around for about half an hour in search of some deadly deathodds but it seemed like night patrollers really had it easy than us because we didn't find a single infected dead body. Emma said that it would be okay if we will not invite the bully trio to this hunt because she will gather them tomorrow morning through the earpiece. In reality she was not going to call us either it was just that we happen to cross paths.
Seeing my anxious and curious face Emma suggested, "If you are so impatient to try your new move, why don't you train with us? We are also free and would like to be more powerful you know!"
"Isn't it a taboo to train with your comrades during a mission, I mean we are supposed to do our duty at day and are supposed to rest at night! We are not supposed to have time for our training." I exclaimed ignorantly.
Emma simply raised her eyebrow, forming am inquiring expression on her face.
"What?"
Emma sighed with shaking her head. I saw Hoover and Ellie bickering with each other as usual. Our team leader continued to walk through the ruined area without answering my question and I continued to follow her without asking another one.

Following Emma lead, me, Hoover and Ellie into the ground floor of a demolished shopping mall whose roof was nowhere to be seen. A starry sky could be seen by turning our heads upward. There were broken pieces of a mirror spread on the side of the floor, white floor was filled with dust and the broken escalator which was suspended in midair was giving a horror vibe to the whole setting.
"So... are we going to train here!?" Looking around to see everything I asked Emma with pointing at the white floor.
"There is no one in the radius of two kilometers except for us! It has already been one in the morning, hurry up and start your training!"
"O-ok! Wait, why are you acting like you are our mom? I just asked you if we will be doing our training here, you could have said just yes, and it would have been alright!"
I complained with innocence and a low voice.
"Huh!!!" Emma expressed in disgust.
Seeing her expression akin to my mom when she used to be angry, I removed my sword from its sheath and prepared myself to activate my caliber. After the sword started to appear red, I pointed it at Hoover gesturing him to train with me.
Hoover nodded at my gesture and drew his arm back to hold his axe. Looking at this Ellie scrunched her eyes with desperation, "No, no, no, I have been training with Emma for the past six nights, let me train with Norde for a bit!!"
Ellie put both of her hands around Hoover's arm and shook her legs in desperation. Hoover simply chuckled lightly with rubbing the back of his head; after accepting this betrayal, I looked at Emma, pointed my devil's fault at her and nodded.
She also let go of her intertwined hands behind her back and put her hand on her sword, then she unsheathed it and showed me the silver coloured blade of her sword.
I fully activated my caliber, [Achievement 'one who created the flames is chosen'] and the voice ranged in my ear.
Ellie also tapped on the back of Hoover's head and said, "Let's go, our time is precious as well!"
Hoover followed her without saying something.
After confirming that both of them have left, I covered my sword's blade with the flames and started to run at Emma, she also took the defensive posture after seeing me advancing towards her.
During my advancement I remembered the most crucial thing of all, 'Are we seriously going to hurt each other with these sharp blades?"
