Author's Note:
Hello to all my readers and other Genshin Impact fans, I'm very happy today!
Maybe you know why, after three months, I think, a new Archon Mission appeared to progress the Main Storyline of the Game!
Just a little more patience and we will be able to find out what the Cryo Archon, aka Tsaritsa, is like.
At the time of writing this segment, I have not started playing [Archon Quest: Paralogism - Interlude: Act IV].
On a minor note, I have completed all 6 quests in the [Tribal Chronicles] Category and all 18 quests in the [Encounter Event] Category.
I only have 7 missions left to complete the [Story Quest] section.
I'm a little sad that the best Genshin Impact quests are about to end for me.
So I hope we will have the opportunity to explore Snezhnaya soon.
Plus, there are the small missions to complete, I left those for last.

Story Arc: Furina - The Little Oceanid
Episodio 1: To Yesterday (II)
Chapter 2: Kidnapping
Plot: The Traveler and Paimon went to visit Furina, when they found her, a long conversation starts that ends in an unexpected way.
XXX
POV Narrator
The Traveler and Paimon are traveling through the streets of Fontaine with a specific destination, the house where Furina lives.
Before long, the Fae and Planeswalker duo arrived outside a residential apartment building, built in the classic Fontaine style.
"Uhh... BB, are you sure you know the right address?" Paimon asks, believing that his traveling companion may have made a mistake of some sort.
"Paimon, my best agent has confirmed that Furina lives here." Bruce said, without a grain of doubt in his words.
"Who is your best agent? It can't be better than Paimon, who stands by your side every day!" exclaims the little fairy, feeling that her position as Right Hand is in danger.
Paimon's question was answered, when a certain blue-eyed crow descended from the sky, sitting atop a lamppost, near the location of the Little Fairy and the Traveler.
"You were talking about Carmen, that female crow that chases you everywhere." Paimon said, giving the black-feathered bird a hostile look.
"Little Fairy, I'm not in the mood to see your jealousy in action today. Carmen is the Eye of the Traveler, while Paimon is the Voice of the Traveler. You both have your roles, just accept them." Bruce said, feeling like a parent who has to deal with his little girl's jealousy issues.
Paimon sulks, shifting his gaze from the crow atop the streetlamp toward the apartment building.
"BB, are you sure Furina lives... here?" Paimon asks, once again just to be sure.
"Yes, Furina lives in this apartment building, what did you expect? To see Furina living in a fairytale castle or in a cardboard box in a dead end?" asks the Traveler, inventing two examples that are on opposite sides of fortune.
Paimon looks down, feeling like he's said a bad word or done something equally bad.
The Traveler's nose twitches, picking up a particular odor that only a single person in all of Fontaine possesses.
"Not that there's anything wrong with this place, it's just, uh... it's a little lower down than Palais Mermonia." Paimon said, trying to phrase his words more respectably.
The Little Fairy is unaware that behind her is the person she is talking about, the one and only, Furina de Fontaine.
[Author's Note: In case anyone missed it, Fontaine is my favorite nation in Teyvat and my favorite Archon is Furina, although Mavuika she is a worthy rival.]
"You know, it's common courtesy to make sure the homeowner isn't around when you're denigrating his abode." Furina said, not happy with Paimon's opinion of her current resistance.
Furina is a light-skinned, short, flat-chested woman, but has a curvy build.
Her eyes are heterochromatic and have teardrop-shaped pupils: her right eye is light blue with a dark blue pupil, while her left eye reverses the color scheme with a purple outer ring. She also has bead-shaped eyelashes. She has soft white hair with light blue streaks.
Furina wears a dark blue suit-like outfit over a vest with a jabot, all decorated with multiple blue cut stone accessories that resemble water droplets at several places. A blue sash is laid over the vest, tied into a bow and pinned with a large blue gem in the center.
Her cuffs are folded back, hemmed into brass-like pieces, and her sleeves end with two deep blue frills, one on each arm.
She also wears a dark blue top hat tipped to the left of her head, the hat decorated with metal flourishes giving the hat a crown-like appearance, in addition to including her emblem on the top surface.
Multiple other fabric ornaments decorate her outfit, including blue and white pieces of cloth on her trailing behind her waist and hat.
Furina wears a short black glove on her right hand and a white one on her left.
She wears short pants, that appears to be shorts and are appended with bands wrapping her thigh.
She wears dark heeled leather shoes, with her emblem emblazoned on the bottom of their soles and white ruff-like collars that wrap around her ankles.
"Furina, Paimon didn't see you." The Little Fairy exclaims with an embarrassed expression.
"My little fairy has a mouth as big as her stomach, sometimes she says things without thinking. Taming her and training her properly is a difficult process." Bruce said, treating Paimon as if she were a puppy who peed on someone else's property.
"Hey! Paimon doesn't talk that much! Double Hey, Paimon isn't even a pet!" Said the white fairy, feeling slightly offended by the Traveler's words.
Seeing the opportunity to get some petty justice, Furina decides to talk about when she first met the Traveler and Paimon.
"Traveler, do you remember our first meeting in Romaritime Harbor?" Furina asks, hoping the Traveler will understand what she wants from him.
"I never forget anything important, you pointed out to us that they had just broken the law by launching a flying object in the first three days of a month, referring to Paimon, thus providing legal grounds to attempt an arrest on us." Said the Traveler, remembering everything in minute detail.
"That wasn't a nice gesture," Paimon said, keeping in mind the accusation of being a flying object or something even more ridiculous.
"But I ruined your plan with one simple trick." Bruce said stoically, curving his lips half a millimeter.
"I proved to everyone that Paimon is not a flying object, but my pet." Bruce said, before snapping his fingers with his left hand.
In the Planeswalker's right hand, a purple chain of pure magical energy appeared, reaching down to Paimon's neck, where a purple collar made of magical energy appeared.
Simply put, the Traveler created a collar and leash for Paimon.
"BB, you enjoy embarrassing me!" Paimon exclaims loudly, moving his arms and legs up and down in anger.
Furina covers her mouth so as not to laugh at Paimon's misfortune.
"You are adorable when you get angry and pout." The Traveler replies, reaching out with his left hand to stroke the Little Fairy's head.
"Get rid of this thing, it's ugly and it doesn't look good on me, someone might see us and get a weird idea." Paimon said, wanting to get rid of the collar and leash right away.
With a snap of the fingers, the two accessories disappeared as quickly as they appeared.
"Personally, I've found a collar and leash to be great accessories, especially for pretty girls and some more refined boys." Bruce said with a small smile on his lips, recalling certain experiences from his past on Earth, Ysatnaf and... Monstand.
Paimon's face turned red with embarrassment, while Furina, unaware of everything, raised an eyebrow, confused.
"Paimon shouldn't know such things. BB, you are a bad influence on Paimon." Said the Little Fairy, often being around the Traveler so much that she unconsciously learned many things, some good, some... inappropriate.
"Chokers have become popular lately, but I don't think it would be practical to add a leash, but each person has their own tastes." Furina said, giving her opinion on the Traveler's fashion tastes.
"Yes, you understand that Furina is a pure girl." The Traveler comments with a nostalgic voice.
"Good for her, Paimon misses the times when certain words did not have double meanings for her." Said the Little Fairy, trying not to blush as she remembered the more daring flirtations between the Traveler and certain women of Liyue.
"What is pure supposed to mean?" Furina asks, feeling as if the Traveler and Paimon were speaking a language she doesn't know.
"You've been too close to the Traveler for too long, you'll find out." Paimon said, as if it were some kind of warning.
"I'm good at corrupting in a magical, political, and other senses." Bruce said, briefly conjuring into his hand a perfect sphere of black mud that emits a toxic miasma.
Furina couldn't help but shiver for a second at the sight of the Traveler's dark magic.
'I was a lucky woman not to have to fight the Traveler directly, I could have suffered a worse fate than being dissolved by the Primordial Water.' Furina thinks, realizing how close she was to losing her mind during their first meeting in Romaritime Harbor.
"Changing the subject, Furina, what have you been up to lately?" Paimon asks, wanting a normal conversation.
"Little Fairy, do I have to wear glasses? Can't you see that in Furina's arms there is a paper bag full of food." Said the Traveler, pointing to what Furina is carrying in her arms.
'Today is not my best day.' Paimon thinks, wondering how he failed to see something so obvious.
"The Traveler is right, I had just gone out shopping. I ran out of macaroni, so I went to get more bags." Furina said, giving the Occult Detective credit for his investigative talents.
"Are you telling me that bag contains only packets of macaroni and nothing else?" Bruce asks with a stoicism that hides the slightest hint of concern.
"I used to have a lot more choice when it came to food, but now I've discovered that even simple, traditional home cooking can be delicious," Furina said, trying to maintain an image of decency and functionality.
"As someone who has lived in the suburbs, then in a hut in a forest, then in the slums, finally, in a castle and now on the streets of Teyvat. I understand what you say, Furina, good food comes in all forms and for all social classes." Said the Traveler, having experienced the luxuries and sorrows of the entire social pyramid, from poverty to wealth.
"Paimon agrees with the Traveler, good food is good food, no matter where it comes from." Said the Little Fairy who can eat almost any form of food that exists in the universe.
Furina blinks in surprise, not believing that Traveler and Paimon agree with her.
Someone is celebrating a little too early.
"Plain food is as good as expensive and complicated food, but eating only macaroni is not good for your health." Said the Traveler, taking a step towards Furina, quite sure that she is not eating properly.
"I don't just eat macaroni." Furina said, putting it as obviously as possible.
"Don't you get tired of macaroni every day? Paimon can't eat the same food day after day either, she needs variety." Paimon said, speaking more as a gourmet than a nutritionist.
"You're wrong, Paimon. As long as you have different kinds of sauce, you can have macaroni and tomato sauce one week, macaroni and meat sauce the next." Furina said, trying to make her situation sound better than it actually is.
"Oh, it looks like you're really struggling to cope." Paimon said, feeling pity for Furina and her current situation.
"Tell me you didn't at least buy the same brand of pasta and sauce." The Traveler asks, hoping that Furina had a modicum of creative instinct in the kitchen, no, in buying cooking ingredients.
"Does it matter? I found a brand of macaroni that was tasty and reasonably priced." Furina said, not wanting to admit that she had bought the least expensive brand of all.
"Furina, there are hundreds of different types of pasta, each with its own unique shape and purpose: Spaghetti, Penne, Linguine, Fettuccine, Farfalle, Tortellini, Ravioli, Macaroni, Vermicelli, Rotini." The Traveler provides examples of pastas that Furina didn't know existed.
"The same goes for the countless variations, each with its own unique flavor and texture that can enhance your favorite dish: Marinara, Bolognese, Alfredo, Pesto, Carbonara, Arrabbiata, Amatriciana, Panna, Cream sauce, Butter sauce." Il Viaggiatore provides more information on the culinary world.
Furina blinks again, not knowing how to respond to this backlash of information.
"Were you by any chance raised by a professional chef or worked in a restaurant?" Furina asks, not sure how a Detective/Sorcerer/Nomadic Hero knows so much about cooking.
"My mother and father figures in life were: a female veterinarian with no powers whatsoever; a wild and cursed witch who made a living by stealing and selling other people's junk and smuggling counterfeit potions; a witch leader of the imperial coven with many regrets; and finally, a professional con man who ran a tourist trap by day and worked in an underground lab at a science fiction-style portal by night." The Traveler spoke about the three people who have filled a parental role for him.
Furina is speechless having not heard such a bizarre answer about family in five hundred years.
'A veterinarian, a criminal witch, a police witch, and a professional con artist with a double life. This explains a few things about the Traveler, but raises even more questions.' Furina thinks, having learned something new about the Traveler who wanders all over Teyvat, acting as a hero and consultant for all sorts of problems.
"The Traveler is not joking, his personal life is bizarre to say the least. And you haven't heard anything yet." Paimon said, having heard stories about his traveling companion's past that are too ridiculous and strange to be false.
"I'd like to know more about your past, Traveler. But this bag of groceries is getting heavy to carry." Furina said, her arms starting to ache, not being used to carrying heavy luggage.
"That's easy to fix." Said the Traveler, as his good eye begins to glow a peculiar shade of purple-pink.
"Magic is a useful thing to have." Furina said, slightly envious of the Traveler's special abilities.
"My telekinesis is not the result of a spell, but rather an innate ability that I developed naturally during the onset of puberty." The Traveler said, holding Furina's shopping in mid-air with his telekinetic grip.
"You sure are full of surprises." Furina comments, not knowing what else to say.
Although the thought that the Traveler may be part Adeptus or something similar is dawning on Furina.
"Paimon, hearing about macaroni and gravy, is getting hungry." Said the Little Fairy, placing her hands on his little stomach, which is probably bigger on the inside.
"I will not prepare lunch for you or the Traveler." Furina replies, not wanting to be the cook for the most eccentric traveling couple in Fontaine's history.
"Paimon will never eat food prepared by Furina, Paimon has her own minimum standards that must be met." Paimon said, acting like a perfectionist. Probably a consequence of the teasing earlier.
"How rude! Questioning my cooking skills, the audacity!" Furina said, offended by Paimon's words, even if she is exaggerating.
"Since when do you have standards? You once ate dog food." asks the Traveler, quite sure that the Little Fairy could eat even a cake that fell on the floor if she wanted.
"Paimon ate dog food? I knew she had a big appetite but to this extent? I think the Traveler's pet title is a good fit for her." Furina comments, surprised by this discovery, but not so much that she wouldn't use this new information.
"It only happened once! It's only because Traveler put dog food on a plate along with a side dish!" Paimon shouts with her face red with anger, clearly that moment is a sore point for her.
"But you also asked for seconds." Comments the Traveler, remembering well that at that lunch the Little Fairy was similar to Scoby-Doo.
"Only because I learned it was dog food after the fact!" Paimon exclaims loudly, holding out his hands as if he wanted to strangle the Traveler.
"To prevent a doomed assassination attempt, let's change the subject. Furina, besides going out to do the shopping, have you done anything else?" asks the Traveler, wanting to know if Furina has anything planned.
If he answers no, he can take Furina to meet Luawick to make her the star of the show.
"It's not like I've had a very busy life lately. In fact, I rarely leave the house." Furina confesses, trying to maintain some dignity, not wanting to seem like she's becoming a reclusive woman.
"I'm sorry to hear this, but this confession is useful to me." Said the Traveler, certain that Furina is not busy at the moment.
"Whatever! What are you doing here? I hope you didn't just come here to watch my fall from grace?" Furina said, wanting to know why the Traveler and Paimon came looking for her.
"Though I enjoy stories of a Fallen Princess, I do not enjoy observing the misfortunes of others up close. Perhaps I would if she were someone I despise, but I bear no ill feelings toward you." The Dark Planeswalker said, holding no ill feelings toward Furina.
"Seriously? I tried to send you to prison, then I accused your friends, Lyney and Childe." Furina said, believing that the Traveler must have some resentment towards her.
"I have only five friends, four females, Luz, Othinus, Mash, and Paimon; and one male, Touma." The Traveler lists the names of the five people who have received the prestigious title of friend.
"Paimon is one of the Traveler's True Friends!" The Fairy said with a big smile, raising her fingers in the shape of a V, meaning victory.
Ignoring Paimon's words, Furina asks a question: "So, what are Lyney and Childe to you?"
" Lyney is a nice, friendly boy, with an even prettier sister, Lynette, and a handsome father,
Harlequin. The twins are very talented Stage Magicians, I admire their work. They are also capable allies, I don't mind socializing with them outside of joint assignments. But they are the favorite children of Harlequin, a Harbingers, so I don't fully trust them." The Traveler admits to liking and respecting Lyney and Lynette, but doesn't consider them friends or 100% trustworthy.
"Tartaglia, Number 11 of the Harbingers, is an adversary of mine, a rival in the warrior's path, a knight in the service of a Lady who has hindered my journey indirectly through her soldiers." Said the Traveler, seeming to have more words to describe his relationship with Childe.
"We are both warriors looking for a worthy opponent, whenever we meet we could end up on the same side or on opposite sides. I do not trust him as Harbingers, he has often shown himself to be as cunning as a Fox. However, I trust in his honor and pride as a warrior. The two of us face each other face to face, making our weapons speak for us." Said the Traveler, taking out the hidden blade of his walking stick.
"The love of dueling, the desire for a worthy challenger unites us. We respect each other, if I were not the Traveler and he were not Tartaglia we could become almost friends or friendly rivals." Said the Traveler, looking at the reflection of his good eye on the surface of the blade.
"Tartaglia wishes me to join the Fatui, and become a Harbinger. But I serve nothing and no one, I never bow my head and I always move forward without gaining back. However, if Childe would like to stop being Tartaglia, I will welcome him with open arms as one of my Knights." Said the Traveler, moving his blade forward, making a ceremonial movement, as if he were about to name someone a Knight.
For a moment, silence fell in front of the Furina Condominium.
'This sounds like some kind of impossible love story between two people who are on opposite sides.' Furina thinks, with a certain blush on her cheeks, imagining a scenario: Traveler X Tartaglia.
"Sometimes you are as silent as the dead, other times you come up with speeches worthy of being romanticized." Paimon said, understanding just enough from his friend's speech.
"I think I overdid it, I didn't come here to talk about my unusual relationship with Tartaglia, but to talk to you, Furina." Said the Traveler, placing the blade inside his staff.
"First of all, I would like to clarify that I am not accepting guests at this time. So if you are only here to make me listen to your nonsense poems, then please go away! Shoo!" Furina said, not wanting to bring anyone inside her apartment, which is extremely messy.
The Traveler takes another step forward, placing himself in front of Furina.
Because of the height difference, Furina de Fontaine has to look up.
"Unfortunately, I must insist, I want to speak with you in private I have an offer for you." Said the Traveler, not wanting to leave empty-handed.
"Maybe another time, I'm busy right now, it's almost lunch time and I have to cook my macaroni." Furina said, being too busy cooking to talk to the Traveler and Paimon.
"It won't happen, this macaroni diet has to end here and now, before you get sick or become a bag of skin and bones." The Traveler said, squeezing his fist, at the same time Furina's grocery bag gets crushed.
"What did you just do!?" Furina shouts, angry that the ingredients of her lunch are being destroyed.
"Even though I'm half blind, I can see more than a normal person can imagine. Since the last time I saw you, you've lost ten pounds, your skin is 2% paler, and your dress, despite being clean, is clearly not washed or ironed properly." The Traveler said, easily seeing Furina deteriorate in several ways.
"Are you some kind of Stalker or something!?" Furina asks, taking a step back, slightly intimidated by the Traveler.
"The Traveler is the greatest Detective in Teyvat, possessing a perfect memory, a mind always at work, and an eye that sees the most details. He mentally notes every little change in anyone who approaches him." Paimon said, trying to nullify Stalker's accusation.
"Here's what the three of us are going to do, we're going to go buy some real cooking ingredients and proper cooking utensils, then we'll go to your apartment." The Traveler said in a serious voice, taking a step forward and bowing his head.
If Furina stood on tiptoe she could kiss the Traveler, if she wanted or had the courage.
"Once inside your apartment, you sit on a chair with Paimon to keep you company, while I go to the kitchen and prepare a proper meal. After that, we will eat at the same table, then we will talk business." Said the Traveler, laying out his plan for lunch.
Once inside your apartment, you will sit on a chair and Paimon will keep you company, while I go to the kitchen and prepare a real meal. After that, we will eat at the same table, then we will talk business." Said the Traveler, laying out his plan for lunch.
"Am I clear, Furina de Fontaine?" asks the Traveler, wanting to hear only one type of answer.
"Yes, you made yourself clear." Furina replies, having lost control of the conversation and her schedule for today.
"I appreciate that we're on the same page." The Traveler said, before placing his hands on Furina.
"What are you doing to me!?" Furina screams, slightly scared.
The woman who pretended to be an Archon for 500 years found herself being held bridal style, in the arms of the Traveler.
"Put me down, people will get a weird idea." Furina exclaims, starting to blush, having never been held like that in her entire life.
"No, that way we'll move faster. You'll see how the power of lightning and telekinesis is used to transform a shopping trip of several hours into a walk of about ten minutes." Said the Traveler, as his body begins to be covered in electric sparks.
"Engines on, ready, 3, 2, 1, Start!" exclaims the Little Fairy, starting a little disaster on the streets of Fontaine.
"Haaaaaa!" Furina can do nothing but scream, as she is carried away at the speed of a racing car.
Furina can do nothing but scream and hold her hands around the Traveler's neck as he is transported at the speed of a racing car.
On a minor note, Charlotte Gagnepetit will have a front-page story in the famous newspaper, The Steambird.

Author's Note:
As of 5/8/2025, 7:50 PM, I have completed the [Archon Quest: Paralogism - Interlude: Act IV].
I won't give any spoilers, I'll just say that I had a lot of fun playing it, but now I'm sad.
There was no Archon Quest after this, which means I'm back to waiting for the next update.
On a lesser note, around 8:30 I completed Escoffier 's [Story Quest] , a pretty cool and fun mission.
I felt like I was some sort of Master Chef combined with Lara Croft.
The only bad thing is that I got a craving for tiramisu and cake.
