The Crescent Moon meeting hall was full, the air thick with power as the Alphas representing packs across the northwestern territories gathered for an emergency meeting. Word had traveled far and wide of the feral attacks, the discovery of a firstborn Lycan, and a few had heard rumors of the human who had miraculously survived a bite that should have killed him. Not only survived the bite, but transformed into a werewolf!
The meeting room, built by then Alpha King Thomas Montgomery, was designated to host annual meetings with the Werewolf Council, and for criminal trials of a serious nature. Now, it was nearly at capacity, with over a dozen Alphas and nearly every council member in attendance.
Stone columns rose from the floor, and high windows let in moonlight that shimmered on the polished hardwood floors.
