"Papa, can I look at your eyes again?"
Uchiha Aiko was originally sitting on the sofa reading a cartoon manga, and at that moment, she suddenly asked Uchiha Byakuya.
"My eyes? You mean the Sharingan?"
Byakuya asked back.
He no longer hid the term "Sharingan" from Eto and Aiko, since they were his most trusted lover and daughter, of course, some things were still omitted. However, it was inevitable that Aiko would awaken her eyes someday.
For the Uchiha clan, awakening the eyes didn't necessarily require going through extreme grief. Just like Sarada, emotional agitation also seemed to be a possible trigger.
Byakuya felt that Aiko just needed an opportunity, maybe one day, she'd suddenly awaken them.
Of course, awakening the first tomoe was relatively easy, but evolving into the Mangekyō Sharingan was far harder, it wasn't something that could be achieved just through emotional excitement.
"Mm-hmm!"
Aiko nodded eagerly with anticipation in her eyes.
Byakuya then revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan. His black pupils turned crimson, and the unique pattern of "Dual Kamui" appeared.
"So cool! How did Papa's eyes turn like that?"
Aiko couldn't help but ask.
She only knew that she had a single kakugan like Mama, and didn't realize she could also have the Sharingan, it was just that she hadn't awakened it yet.
"Actually, Aiko, you have it too. You just haven't awakened it yet."
Byakuya said.
"I have it too? But why can't I make it appear?"
Aiko immediately tried it out, and as a result, only her right eye turned into a kakugan. There was no sign of the Sharingan like her Papa's.
"That's why I said you haven't awakened it yet. You need a trigger, though it's hard to say when that'll happen."
Byakuya explained: "And your Sharingan won't be exactly the same as mine. Every pair of Sharingan, once developed to a certain level, has its own unique ability. But since you're my daughter, there's a chance you might inherit one of mine."
Just like how both Sasuke and Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan possessed the Amaterasu ability, that was probably because they were blood brothers.
If Aiko could inherit one of his Dual Kamui abilities, that would be really great.
But growing to the point of Mangekyō Sharingan, that was going to be very difficult for Aiko.
Moreover, Byakuya didn't tell Aiko the exact method of awakening the Sharingan, because such a thing couldn't be forced.
The more Aiko deliberately thought about awakening it, the harder it might be to achieve.
"Okay~"
Aiko nodded obediently, left only to quietly look forward to that day's arrival.
