"When the world collapses and there is no government, you guys try turning it into a utopia for bastards and thugs, a utopia where you rule supreme, ain't that the world ya tryna create, I call it bullshit, ordering people around while still letting them rob others who are tryna survive just like you, you think that's right?" Jake asked his face unreadable as one could not read what was actually going on inside his head
"Don't kill me please, don't I'll change from what I am now, please" Moro begged still groaning in pain from the already cut off arm
"I wouldn't trust that, words from a guy with no honor holds no value, it's probably all lies" Jake scuffed grabbing hold of his dagger
"So how bout we make this fast?" Jake said giving out a creepy smile, he raised the dagger almost forcing it through moro's body when he got blocked by Ellie and Jim who looked like they were against what he wanted to do
"This isn't right, killing him isn't right, it just makes you one of them, you shouldn't" Ellie said where she gets the courage all of a sudden Jake Wondered, nevertheless he till had to put Moro down before he actually puts someone else down
"I'm sorry I can't listen to you right now Ellie, this guy is as dangerous to anyone else as those infected are" Jake replied trying to get past Ellie when he got blocked by him
"This isn't necessary Jake" Jim persuaded but Jake only waved past him and towards Moro,
"I'm sick and tired of this, let's just end it" Jake huffed but what happened next got him baffled, as he tried slicing through Moro Cecil blocked it holding together the sharp edges of the dagger and forcing it off course so Moro doesn't get hurt
*Exhaled, exhales*
"Please don't kill him, we surrender ok...., if his words isn't good enough, I vow to take him off this track, he won't hurt anyone ever again" Cecil vowed but off course Jake wasn't convinced, they were both crooks and liars and she also worked with him, believing her was going to be hard
"You want me to believe you, your word also means nothing, you work with him and you both are equally to be held responsible for what just happened" Jake argued
"Okay, I'll go with you guys....., I'll use myself as our little contract, one between you and moro's gang, how's that for a deal?" Ceil asked, this alone could tell Jake she wasn't joking and she was serious saying she would stray from the bad side towards the side of light, after a long thought Jake sighed placing his dagger into its leg shaft while walking past him and Ellie
"We gotta keep moving, we've been at this long, anymore could attract the infected" Jake said continuing his walk down the road as jim followed behind quickly leaving Ellie behind
"Are you sure about this?, I you join us, we're not sure when you can be able to return" Ellie reminded, she had the same concerned expression on her face
"Don't worry, it's alright and besides, I always wanted to travel the world maybe this is actually the opportunity I needed to do so" Cecil said with a smile as she stood
"Shall we go then?" Cecil asked
"Ok" Ellie replied as they both ran to catch up with Jake and Jim
"Please Moro, recover well..., I guess we'll be seeing each other soon brother" Cecil thought while running behind Ellie, although she had party done this to protect her brother,she also did it so she could leave him and travel the world awhile without her brother always protecting her

Soon after it was dark, Jake and his team had already taken shelter in an abandoned gas station, they had to wait out the dark and as soon as it was dawn they continued their journey again.
"This side of town doesn't seem that much infected at all" Ellie said killing an infected with the dagger she held, it has been three days since the apocalypse and they were starting to get used to killing the infected, Ellie could now stand her ground against an infected, Jim too.
"We've gotta gotta search for a place to get food, we're almost out" Cecil suggested
"Yh sure, sound like a plan" Ellie said walking past Jake who slowly walked behind his friends
"Hey Jake, heard what I just said?" Cecil asked standing in front of Jake all of a sudden
"No I didn't" Jake replied
"I said we needed food, we're almost out of it" Cecil said again but Jake said nothing while he stared at her, then suddenly he spoke
"I never asked you to tag along so if you get hungry, you gotta keep it to yourself" he replied, he still remembered his reaction seeing her after leaving moro's territory

"But it's not just her Jake, we all are and besides we could need the extra food, no one knows if we're gonna be lucky to see a store after hitting the highway" Ellie reminded
"She's actually right, and you too know she is" Jim said taking the sides of the girls
"Traitor" Jake thought sighing
"Ok....let's get ourselves a car and some food,... We gotta find a store" Jake smiled following behind as his team led the way towards the nearest supermarket of this district...
Within the last three days, they had all gone to each others homes to confirm if anyone was still there but they found no one to return to, with this Ellie knew she now had to learn and adapt to a world with parents by the guidance of Jake, Jim k ew he had to be a little bit helpful to the group of tey were no going to be together and Jake knew he had to protect the new family he had now as he had always been alone, maybe this wasn't a disaster, maybe this meant a new begining in life for them, Jake thought with a smirk
But far behind him and his new crew danger lurked trailing him by his scent

"It smells human, but isn't human...*licks lips* I wonder how it's gonna taste" a strange looking creature said moving towards Jake's direction
