Chapter 241 - Chapter 240: Welcomed with Love

The sun gleamed gently through the towering windows of the church as the last few guests trickled out, their voices filled with joy and excitement. Outside, laughter and murmurs floated in the air, mingling with the chimes of distant bells. Though the ceremony had ended, the celebrations were only just beginning.

As Bella stepped outside the church, the cool breeze brushing against her face, her eyes scanned the gathering crowd. The moment she saw them—her mother and brother—her heart skipped a beat. She froze for a second in disbelief, then rushed forward, her heels clicking rapidly on the stone steps.

"Mom! Arthur!" she cried out, her voice breaking as emotion overtook her.

Her mother opened her arms wide, tears already glistening in her eyes. Bella ran into her embrace, holding her tightly as if afraid to let go. Her brother joined the hug, wrapping his arms around both of them. The three stood there, locked in a moment of reunion that said more than words ever could.

Bella's eyes brimmed with tears. It had been so long. So many sleepless nights wondering if she'd ever see them again, and here they were—right in front of her. She had missed them with every fiber of her being.

"I missed you, Mom," she whispered.

Her mother cupped her face gently, smiling through tears. "We're so proud of you, sweetheart."

Bella also embraced her aunts and uncle, each hug wrapping her in warmth and congratulations. Their words of love and joy filled her heart with gratitude. For a moment, everything else faded away—the pain, the past, the questions. This was a new beginning.

"I'll see you all at the reception," she said, finally stepping away, her voice steady but soft.

She turned and climbed into the sleek black wedding car waiting for her and her new husband, Jr. Her family followed in separate vehicles, forming part of a grand convoy that was now over fifty cars long. As they began the journey toward the reception venue, crowds of people lined the streets, waving and cheering at the newlyweds.

Children threw flower petals into the air while others snapped photos on their phones. Bella turned around in her seat to wave back at the crowd, smiling at the outpouring of love and excitement. It felt surreal, like a dream she never wanted to wake up from.

After a drive that felt like a royal procession, they arrived at the grand reception venue. The estate was adorned in elegant decorations, a perfect blend of white roses, soft candlelight, and delicate crystal chandeliers. It looked like something out of a fairy tale.

Inside, Bella was ushered into a private bridal room where more family members awaited her. Her mother, grandmother, and several of Jr.'s aunts surrounded her with joyful smiles.

"Welcome to the Hampton family—officially!" said Aunt Justin, beaming as she pulled Bella into a hug.

Bella's heart swelled. She had never known this kind of overwhelming warmth. This family had embraced her wholly, not just as Jr.'s wife but as one of their own.

First Lady Evelyn, Jr.'s elegant and ever-composed aunt, stepped forward holding three stunning gowns.

"For the reception, we've prepared these for you to choose from," she said, unfolding them with a practiced flourish.

There was a black, floor-length mermaid gown encrusted with delicate diamonds, a bold red satin dress with a plunging neckline and dramatic train, and a regal purple one adorned with shimmering beadwork. Each was more beautiful than the last.

Bella's eyes widened in awe. "They're all… incredible."

"We want you to shine tonight," Evelyn said with a warm smile.

Then, Old Mrs. Hampton, the dignified matriarch of the family, stepped forward with a small velvet box in hand. When she opened it, a dazzling diamond bracelet gleamed under the lights.

"This is for you, dear," she said, gently fastening it around Bella's wrist. "Welcome to the legacy."

Next came a set of gold bangles from another aunt, each one finely crafted, and then a final surprise—Jr.'s mother held out a green gem wedding ring.

"This belonged to your grandmother," she explained. "It has been passed down through generations. Now it's yours."

Bella's breath caught in her throat as she slipped it on. Her eyes shimmered with emotion, tears threatening to fall again.

"I… I don't know what to say," she whispered.

"Just say yes to love, darling," said her mother, embracing her again.

As if that wasn't enough, Justin, Jr.'s cousin older brother from her maternal aunt, arrived with three designer handbags worth more than Bella could even imagine.

"Welcome to the family," he said with a wink. "You're one of us now."

Laughter and chatter filled the room as everyone helped Bella prepare for the grand reception. Her hair was styled into a graceful updo, soft curls cascading at the sides. A pair of black stilettos completed her look as she stepped into the black diamond-studded mermaid gown. The dress clung to her perfectly, a picture of elegance and poise.

She looked at herself in the mirror. For a moment, she barely recognized the woman staring back—confident, radiant, and loved. She wasn't just a girl dreaming of a happy ending anymore. She was living it.

A knock came at the door.

"Everyone's arriving," said one of the attendants.

Bella took a deep breath. "Let's do this."

As she walked down the hallway, flanked by her mother and new aunts, the sound of music and applause echoed through the doors ahead. The reception had begun. Outside, hundreds of guests waited—some family, some friends, some dignitaries, and some strangers who had simply come to witness the celebration of love.

But none of that mattered.

Because in her heart, Bella was ready—not just for the reception, but for the life that came after it. A life filled with love, family, legacy, and hope.

And as she stepped into the light of the grand ballroom, all eyes turned to her, the new Mrs. Hampton—radiant, strong, and finally home.
