"Could there be a possibility that Elli didn't belong to this world?" Lucas asked and observed the faces before him.
While Professor Finn didn't have much of a reaction, Ryker, Vance, and Patrick were taken aback, but it wasn't to the extent that they were utterly shocked until their blood ran cold and their bodies froze in their seats.
From their meager reactions, Lucas discerned that they had already guessed this theory as well. They ought to have. Any smart person would have thought along these lines.
"Maybe a planet where the technology is advanced, people are smarter, and perhaps have special abilities."
Lucas didn't believe half of what he was saying. He found them absurd, close to impossible, if not for him experiencing some of the situations himself.
The three men didn't refute the possibility. Lucas's words opened up a lot of possibilities, many of which seemed ridiculous but not impossible.
