Lucas was about to say something when Ryker and Vance arrived in the lab.
"Hey, you guys, take a break, will ya? You've been spending a lot of time here," Ryker suggested, ruffling his unruly hair until it became messier.
"I have a feeling that these two will soon shift to the lab and start living here," Vance added, sighing heavily as if he were helpless and didn't know what to do with them.
"Seriously. I'm starting to feel I don't know Lucas anymore. He is drifting apart from us and is becoming a stranger."
Lucas almost rolled his eyes when he heard their words. Did they have to be so melodramatic? He even thought that if they had been born on Earth, they'd clinch all the acting trophies. Nobody could beat them.
"What are you guys doing?" Vance asked, leaning against the glass wall that separated them.
"Just talking," Patrick replied and gave Lucas a look.
"About?"
