"…I still don't think it's a good idea," Felix said, as they picked that expensive car seat the shop assistant had presented to them first.
"There's no need to spend this much," he complained, as they chose a fancy pram.
"I won't even need that for the next few months," he sighed, as they looked at the strollers.
"I could pay for this myself," he insisted, when the time came to check out the cribs.
"Now that's all unnecessary!" he exclaimed, as they grabbed baby clothes, nappies, toiletries, bottles, toys, and so on. "I've already bought enough!"
Yet, despite his complaints, the shopping went on.
