"You bastard... going for a sneak attack?"

Ayr stepped forward, standing tall beside Rocks, his eyes calmly observing the fallen Zephyr. His tone was flat, devoid of emotion.

Initially, Ayr had stayed on the sidelines. He hadn't planned to intervene.

But the moment he saw Zephyr attempt a sneak attack on Rocks, he moved.

Although Ayr held no deep affection for Rocks himself—after all, he was a man who followed only his own principles—he owed Rocks something.

The Rocks Pirates had sheltered him during his early days. More importantly, Rocks had personally guided his training. He taught Ayr to harness his Fairy Eyes, pushing his power to even greater heights. That debt, however unspoken, lingered.

And besides, when Ayr first joined the crew, he'd made a promise:

He would fight for Rocks until the crew disbanded.

Ayr was not a man who broke his word.

So, when Zephyr made his move, Ayr responded—not to protect Rocks as a person, but to uphold his own honor and vow.

The moment Ayr's figure appeared on the battlefield, the nearby Rocks pirates erupted with fervor.

"Captain Ayr! It's Captain Ayr!!"

"Did you see that? One strike sent Vice Admiral Zephyr flying!"

"That's our monster! The most gifted freak in the Rocks Pirates! Captain Ayr's in the fight—we can't fall behind!!"

"Kill them all!!! Kill every single Marine!!!"

The sight of Ayr's intervention ignited the morale of the Rocks Pirates like wildfire.

It was as though they had been injected with a shot of pure rage and energy.

Wave after wave of pirates surged forward with maddened roars, tearing into Marine lines with no regard for their own lives.

Even Marine elite units struggled to hold the front.

On the other side, Commander-in-Chief Kong clenched his fists, face darkening at the unfolding chaos.

"Damn it—it's Ayr!"

He knew what this meant. If Ayr hadn't intervened, Zephyr's punch might've landed cleanly on Rocks. While it likely wouldn't have killed the pirate captain, it would have dealt heavy damage—possibly turning the tide of the battle.

The Marines had taken a calculated gamble: fight the Rocks Pirates head-on, and seize any opening to weaken Rocks himself.

But now... thanks to Ayr, that window had closed.

Worse—he had escalated the situation.

"Damn that bastard Ayr, he ruined a perfect opportunity!" Admiral Zhenwu spat, frustration burning behind his sharp gaze.

"I never expected him to move that fast..." muttered Crane, eyes narrowing.

"To react to Zephyr's movement in real time, and intercept him so precisely... that takes monstrous instincts."

Ayr had appeared in a blur—a single kick, wrapped in Armament Haki, had sent Zephyr flying before his fist could land. It was clinical. Precise. Devastating.

"No choice now," Sengoku muttered, removing his Justice cloak with steady hands.

"We delay any longer, and it'll be too late. Roger and Wald's crews are coming. If we don't move now, the whole battle could collapse."

It was no longer just Rocks vs. Brownie. The time for watching and waiting was over.

Now that Ayr had entered the fray, the rest of the Rocks crew would follow.

And the Marines? They had to meet force with force.

"Move out!!" Admiral Black Bat barked. "Ayr has acted! That means every damn commander over there is about to jump in. We hit them first!"

At once, Kong, Zhenwu, Zephyr, Crane, Garp, Sengoku, Black Bat, Deros and more launched themselves toward the Rocks Pirate cadres.

Across the battlefield, a different reaction was stirring—

"Tch. That bastard Ayr really went for it."

Shiki, the Golden Lion, exhaled a cloud of smoke as he flicked his cigar aside. His golden mane fluttered in the valley winds.

In truth, Shiki had hoped Zephyr would injure Rocks. As much as he respected Rocks' strength, he and many others had grown tired of being under his thumb.

If Zephyr had landed his strike, it could have weakened Rocks enough to allow the rest of them to break free—perhaps even seize control.

But Ayr... Ayr ruined it.

"Ma~mamama... terrifying speed. That brat's grown stronger than he was during the Mariejois massacre," Charlotte Linlin commented, eyes narrowed in contemplation.

When Zephyr struck, she hadn't intervened—like the others, she was happy to let Rocks suffer.

But Ayr's intervention caught her off guard. Not only had he blocked Zephyr, he had done so without anyone seeing him move.

"Ayr, you bastard... one day I'll surpass you."

Kaido clenched his kanabo tightly. His eyes locked onto Ayr's back.

Ever since joining the Rocks Pirates, Kaido had viewed Ayr as a rival—his benchmark.

Ayr's strength was frightening, yes. But Kaido had unshakable faith in his own growth.

One day, he'd prove himself superior.

"Hey, you two gonna stand there whispering love poems?" snarled Silver Axe, muscles bulging with frustration. "The damn Marines are charging!"

"Shit... That idiot Ayr started a full-scale war!" barked Captain John, his teeth grinding.

Because of Ayr's strike, the Marine high command was now fully mobilized.

No more waiting. The battlefield had erupted into total war.

"Gurararara... The true battle of the Valley of the Gods begins now!!"

Whitebeard, gripping Murakumogiri, let out a booming laugh before charging into the storm of Marines.

"Kaido. Let's go," Charlotte Linlin said flatly, now fully engaged.

She had hoped to wait for Rocks and Brownie to exhaust each other. But with everything descending into chaos, there was no more time for schemes.

"I'm on it." Kaido nodded, hefting his kanabo, then hurled himself forward alongside Linlin.

Golden Lion, John, Silver Axe, Ochoku, and the rest of the Rocks commanders followed—each engaging the incoming Marine elite.

Not because they cared for Rocks.

No.

Their objectives were clear:

1. Find Uranus.

2. Watch Rocks fall.

Running away now wasn't an option. If they abandoned the battlefield and Rocks survived...

He would hunt them down.

He held their life papers—the ancient Vivre Cards that tracked their very souls.

Escape would only guarantee a slow, painful death.

The only acceptable exits were:

Victory... or the death of Rocks.

With the Marine top brass now engaged—Kong vs. Whitebeard, Garp vs. Kaido, Sengoku vs. Shiki, Zephyr vs. Silver Axe, Crane vs. Linlin, and Zhenwu vs. Ochoku—the Valley of the Gods erupted into a legendary battle.

On one side, the full might of Naval Headquarters.

On the other, the most monstrous gathering of pirates the world had ever seen.

And above it all, Ayr stood quietly beside Rocks—eyes glowing faintly with the power of the Fairy Eyes, surveying the chaos he had unleashed.

The final war of the old era had officially begun.
