I woke up feeling irritated.
It took me a moment to fully regain consciousness, and when I did, I realized I was chained to the bed.
Ugh!
The sound of footsteps made my head snap toward the door. The alpha strolled in, his expression unreadable.
"Ugh! Let me go!" I struggled against the restraints, but the chains were firmly bolted to the bedside. "What do you want from me!?" I pulled at my wrists, but the metal wouldn't budge.
He chuckled, amused. "Listen, omega, those chains are handmade. You won't be able to break them."
I grit my teeth, frustration bubbling up. That's when I noticed—he was standing next to a table, shirtless. A sudden, terrifying realization struck me.
My breath hitched. I yanked the blanket off myself, my heart pounding.
"Goddammit—what did you do to me!?" My voice trembled as I hurriedly covered myself again, noticing that only one of my hands was chained.
He smirked, tilting his head. "I didn't really get to do anything. What's the fun in it when you're asleep?" His voice was laced with mockery. Then, as if the situation wasn't already unbearable, he rolled his eyes and added, "Besides, I'm not that bad. I wouldn't molest you."
His words made my stomach churn. Was I supposed to be grateful for that?
I could only glare at him with pure disgust. He didn't care—of course he didn't.
"Don't you want clothes?" he asked, his gaze flickering toward my exposed body.
I rolled my eyes and yanked at the chains again—only to fail miserably. My wrists ached, frustration building inside me. "Let me go, and I promise I'll stay." The words felt like poison on my tongue. I despised this—I despised being restrained. It dragged me back to the past, to the days of begging for work, of being drenched in the rain, curled up in alleyways with nothing but hunger to keep me company.
"P-please…" My voice cracked, and before I could stop it, a single tear slipped down my cheek.
His expression didn't waver. "No."
I hated it.I hated him.
Without another word, he locked the door and hooked the keys onto his pants.
I hadn't paid much attention to my surroundings before, but now, I took everything in. The room was massive, its elegance undeniable. This wasn't some hidden dungeon—I was in his house. Everything gleamed in pristine white, from the polished floors to the intricately carved furniture. The curtains, deep blue, were lined with gold at the edges, adding a regal touch.
Lavish. Untouchable. Just like him.
He walked toward me, his movements slow and deliberate. Then, to my surprise, he knelt down and unlocked the cuff on my wrist. Without a word, he stood up, his gaze lingering on me before he smiled—his usual eerie, unreadable smile.
I ignored him. Inch by inch, I shifted backward, pressing myself into the corner of the bed. I turned away, refusing to acknowledge his presence.
That's when I noticed it—the angry redness on my right wrist, a cruel reminder of the chains that had held me captive.
I barely had time to react before he stepped closer. "Let me see," he said, extending a hand as if expecting me to comply.
I clenched my fingers, keeping my hand to myself.
"You promised to obeyyy~" he hummed in a teasing tone.
The sound sent a shiver down my spine. I didn't want to obey him, but I really didn't want to be chained again.
Reluctantly, I raised my hand and placed it in his.
His fingers brushed over my wrist, rubbing the irritated skin. "It's really red," he murmured, almost as if he cared. I rolled my eyes. As if that mattered more than the fact that I'd been kidnapped.
After a moment, he let go.
He turned away, walking toward a small marble table a few feet from the bed. A matching stool sat neatly tucked underneath it. Without hesitation, he grabbed a set of clothes folded on top and tossed them at me.
"Here," he said, his voice emotionless. "Clothes—wear them."
Before I could react, he strode back to me, his presence overwhelming.
Then—yank!
A sharp sting spread across my scalp as he grabbed a fistful of my hair and jerked my head back, forcing me to meet his gaze.
Ugh!
His other hand gripped my cheeks, fingers pressing hard against my skin. His voice dropped to a dangerous whisper.
"And always remember," he sneered, his breath warm against my face, "you obey me and only me, omega."
My hands curled into the bedsheets, shaking with frustration.
What can I do?
He let go of my hair, throwing me to the bed, he pinned both my hands to the bed, his grip was really strong, "And one more thing", he glared at me, "don't even think about escaping! this mansion is built like a dungeon, there are bodyguards everywhere!", he warned me.
He grabbed my cheeks, then he forcefully kissed me.
nngh!
I didn't like the fact that he was exploring my mouth with his tongue, nor did I like being here.

I was locked in his room, I think. At least I wasn't chained to the bed anymore. That was a small mercy.
I took the chance to explore the room, stretching my stiff muscles as I walked. It was massive, designed with an almost ridiculous level of elegance. A huge white double door stood at one end, and a glass balcony door on the other side let in soft daylight. The glass was beautifully decorated with painted flowers in shades of blue, yellow, and pink—oddly delicate for someone like him.
Curious, I padded toward the double doors and pressed my ear against the cool surface. Silence. No movement on the other side. At least, that's what I hoped.
I gripped the handle and twisted it, trying to push and pull the door open. Nothing. I jiggled the handle, my frustration rising, but it was pointless.
Next, I moved to the balcony door, pressing my palms against the glass and peering outside. It overlooked an expanse of land—lush, beautiful, and utterly useless to me if I couldn't reach it. I tried sliding the door open. Locked.
"Bastard locked this one too."
The realization settled in my chest like a heavy stone. I was stuck. No way out.
I took a slow breath. If I wanted to escape, I had to understand this place. But first, I needed to get out of this room. And for that, I needed him.
Honestly, what even is his name?
I wracked my brain, but nothing came up. Not like he'd introduced himself properly when he kidnapped me.
I chewed my lip. Maybe if I obeyed, he'd loosen the leash a little. Maybe if I played his game, he'd let his guard down.
And if he wanted my body? Then I'd make him *need* it.
My fingers skimmed the edge of the pink robe hanging by the bedside. I picked it up, feeling the velvety softness between my fingertips. The silky material glided over my skin as I slipped it on, tying it loosely around my waist. It clung to me in just the right places, falling open enough to reveal bare skin underneath.
Dignity? Yeah, I'd be losing some of that tonight.
But I didn't need a PhD to arouse an Alpha.
I just needed him to take the bait.

I didn't sleep, though. As I waited for him to drift off, the sun had already disappeared behind the trees, casting long shadows across the room.
I turned slightly, peeking from the corner to check if Kai was truly asleep. His breaths were deep and steady. Making sure he was out cold, I quietly got up, slipping my robe back on.
My eyes landed on the pants he had tossed onto the couch in his earlier hurry. That's where he had put the keys—I was sure of it.
I padded over and carefully picked them up, rifling through the back pockets first, then the front. Nothing.
But I saw him put the keys in here.
Panic prickled at my skin. I crouched down, checking under the couch, sweeping my hands along the floor, searching every possible place.
Nothing.
Frustrated and exhausted, I threw myself onto the couch with a groan. "Ugh! Fucking Alphas! It's like they can read our minds!" I huffed, crossing my arms. At this rate, I felt like a child whining for their tablet.
Letting out a slow breath, I tilted my head, scanning the room. My eyes landed on him again—his sleeping form now calm, harmless even.
I moved toward the bedside, kneeling beside the small drawer placed next to it. My gaze flickered to his face, his features softened in slumber.
"Not so scary when you're asleep, are you?" I murmured, a ghost of a smile tugging at my lips. A strand of his hair had fallen over one of his eyes. Before I realized it, my fingers twitched, tempted to brush it away.
Then—
"How can I sleep when you're trying to escape?"
Eek—
I froze.
He wasn't sleeping? Great, Rei. Now you look like a complete fool.
He propped his head up on one hand, smirking lazily. "Did you find the keys?" he asked, his tone dripping with amusement.
My face burned. I rolled my eyes, scowling. "Oh, shut up! It's not like I won't get out of here eventually!" I shot back, my embarrassment only making him grin wider.
"You are so unlucky, you should know alpha's have powers don't you?", he pulled out the keys from under his pillow, "I simply used my magic to relocate those keys—should've known huh", he chuckled
He got up and sat with his legs crossed on the bed, "but don't stop—", he smiled, "I like it when you're like this", he explored my body with his eye, "you might actually get lucky one day", he grinned—he then signaled me to come closer with his fingers. I ignored him rolling my eyes, "wanna get chained again?", his soft voice was now replaced with a dreadful threat.
I glared before hopelessly moving towards him on all fours—that wicked smile of his that I hated popped up on his face.
"Good boy", he said as he ruffled my hair—but then
He grabbed my hair and pulled it back—making him look at me, but it didn't hurt as much as before, "If you can learn to obey—you might get the keys", he smirked.
