"Is the power of the Nine-Tails really that strong?" Obito's voice was filled with doubt in the dark underground space.
"What's truly powerful isn't the Nine-Tails itself, but the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki!" Black Zetsu's expression was serious.
"He has not only fully mastered the Nine-Tails' power but also possesses the full power of the Rinnegan and can use the Complete Body Susanoo. Even at his peak, Madara would have to tread carefully around him."
"What's even more dangerous is that the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki has mastered the Flying Thunder God Technique!"
"I think you understand better than anyone how formidable that Jutsu is. Once we appear before him and he marks us with the Flying Thunder God's mark, no matter where we flee, we won't be able to escape his pursuit."
Hearing this, Obito's mouth twitched beneath his mask, and he felt a phantom pain in his back.
His body had just fully recovered, and now the Ninja World had become something he no longer recognized. Obito suddenly felt his throat go dry, and the back of his shirt seemed damp.
'If the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki was as strong as Madara at his peak, what could I, with only one Mangekyo Sharingan, possibly do?'
Thinking of the Mangekyo Sharingan, Obito asked, "What about the eye in Kakashi's possession..."
"No chance."
Black Zetsu interrupted before Obito could finish. He looked at Obito with a mix of frustration and disappointment: "That eye was taken by the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki long ago and fused with his own. I already warned you to retrieve it earlier."
Obito's expression beneath the mask grew even darker, his lips pressed tightly together, not only because of Black Zetsu's tone, but also because of Kakashi.
Obito cursed Kakashi in his mind, 'Not only had he failed to protect Rin back then, but now he couldn't even protect my eye!'
"So, what do we do now?" Obito asked through gritted teeth, his single visible eye glaring at Black Zetsu.
Black Zetsu answered with action, turning to look at Hiruko, who had been silently observing the conversation with a cold expression.
Obito followed his gaze, his brow furrowing slightly. "Are you sure he can help us?"
Seeing that the topic suddenly involved him, Hiruko couldn't help but frown slightly. If it weren't for the fact that White Zetsu's abilities were so astonishing, he would have considered leaving.
After all, they didn't mention that there would be such a terrifying enemy before.
Although he did faint at the time, the enemy is someone the God of Ninja and the Shura of Ninja World couldn't deal with, why did the Black Egg in front of him think he could? He wondered if this guy really have that much faith in a Missing-ninja who had been chased out of Konoha.
Sure, he had once dreamed of unifying the Ninja World, but for now, it was just a dream.
Black Zetsu, however, wore a determined expression. "To defeat the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, we must harness the power of more deceased Ninja."
"Even Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara lost. I think using Edo Tensei to reincarnate other Ninja would just be adding numbers." Hiruko said skeptically.
"Your previous Edo Tensei wasn't perfected. If we can refine it further and allow them to wield more of their living power, we might stand a chance."
Seemingly worried that Hiroko still has some concerns, he continued: "All you need to do is continue perfecting the Edo Tensei. I'll handle finding the bodies of the strongest Ninjas in history from each village."
Hearing this, Hiruko still didn't agree immediately. Instead, he laid out his own conditions. He had been working for so long and had only received a few White Zetsu's clones in return. He hadn't obtained any real benefits.
"I can continue researching the Edo Tensei, but you must first fulfill the conditions you promised me. Additionally, this time, I'll need a pair of Sharingan."
This incident had made Hiruko realize one thing: relying on external power was unreliable. True strength came from within.
Even if he reanimated Hashirama and Madara, he himself had been knocked unconscious by the mere shockwaves of their battle.
If Black Zetsu hadn't needed his abilities, he would have died right then and there. So now, he needed to complete his own plan: to merge the five powerful Kekkei Genkai and achieve immortality.
Since Kakashi's Sharingan was gone, he would need another pair of Sharingan to complete the set.
"Four Kekkei Genkai users and a pair of Sharingan?" Black Zetsu turned to Obito.
Obito looked puzzled. "Are you saying I should do it?"
"Hiroko needs to perfect the Edo Tensei, and I'll be searching for bodies. This task falls to you. Or would you rather take over the Edo Tensei research?"
Black Zetsu's patience with Obito was wearing thin.
If it weren't for the years of planning he had invested, he would have considered waiting until Naruto died before restarting the plan.
Now, he was merely giving it a try. If it succeeded, great. If it failed, he could always wait another hundred years. He didn't believe that Naruto could outlive him.
Obito also noticed Black Zetsu's attitude, and his expression beneath the mask darkened. But there was nothing he could do.
His power wasn't enough to make Black Zetsu submit. Moreover, Black Zetsu was an indispensable part of the Eye of the Moon Plan.
Moreover, Black Zetsu is also an indispensable part of the Moon Eye plan.
I'll do it,"
In the dimly lit environment, Obito Uchiha's single exposed eye turned blood-red with frustration, the three tomoe spinning within.
He glared at Hiruko and asked in a deep voice, "What kind of Kekkei Genkai do you want?"
Hiruko was startled by the sudden appearance of Obito's Sharingan, almost thinking that the man was about to attack him without warning.
Before Hiruko could respond, Black Zetsu spoke first.
"Let's start with Magnet Release."
"Magnet Release? Yondaime Kazekage's Kekkei Genkai?" Obito was surprised that Black Zetsu would suggest targeting a Kage right off the bat.
And because of his near-death experience in Konoha, Obito no longer is as overconfidence in his own Dojutsu as before.
"If my calculations are correct, the Yondaime Kazekage, Rasa, will be leaving the village soon. With your strength, ambushing and eliminating him shouldn't be a problem." Black Zetsu explained.
He had already deployed all the White Zetsu's clones, and now, apart from the Land of Waves and the Land of Rain, he had informants spread across the entire Ninja World.
Because of that, he was fully aware of everything happening in Sunagakure.
"Rosa is leaving the village? Didn't the war between Sunagakure and Konoha just end? Why is he leaving the village again?" Obito asked.
Under normal circumstances, a Kage rarely left their village, both for the safety of the village and for their own protection.
"It's for something called the Gelel Stone."
Black Zetsu replied, his expression serious once more.
"That thing possesses an immense amount of life energy. Even a small portion of its power can alter the geography of an entire region."
"This is an extremely terrifying power. If we can't obtain it, I want you to destroy it."
