In his room, Ed was staring at the Purple Fire Seal he had exchanged for.
It was a notebook with only a few dozen pages, and a small glass bottle containing bright red blood. Even through the glass, he could feel the heat slowly emanating from the blood.
Ed took a deep breath, adjusting his mindset and thoughts, and opened the notebook, beginning to read it carefully.
The main language of the Hunter world was almost identical to the one Ed had used in his previous world, and he wasn't sure why.
He speculated that perhaps long ago, someone from his world had come to the Hunter world and spread their culture and language.
Of course, this was just a guess.
The notes detailing the Purple Fire Seal were exceedingly obscure. Many of the words and sentences had multiple meanings, making them particularly hard to understand. Just reading through them gave Ed a headache.
For a Hunter who hadn't studied any sorcerer knowledge, this was undoubtedly a torment.
