Just as Ed was walking out of the library, the old man silently returned to the front desk of the library. He quietly stared at the stone tablet rubbings that Ed had left behind, lost in thought.
After a while, the white-haired old man slowly raised his head and looked in the direction Ed had gone. He whispered to himself:
"This young man is blessed with the soul of something special; he seems like a decent person."
"But in a world that's gradually descending into despair, the more decent someone is, the more likely they are to die."
"He will attract attention. Dorey City is no longer a place where I should stay for long. It's time to move on."
Inside the Moon Eclipse Demon Hunter Association, in Ed's room, it was getting close to evening, and Toronto and Ford had yet to arrive.
