Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Even the Seven Gods cannot face the threats in the universe

Mondstadt.

Good Hunter restaurant

"You didn't really fall for this Luo Feng, did you?"

Mona asked curiously, looking at Lisa who was leisurely enjoying her meal opposite her.

"I don't deny that I'm quite interested in Luo Feng."

"After all, mysterious people always attract people's attention, don't they?"

Lisa smiled.

"That's true, that man is indeed quite intriguing."

"My astrology can't predict anything related to him at all."

Mona said with a hint of distress.

"However, even though there are many intriguing and curious things about Luo Feng."

"That's not enough to make you fall for him, is it?"

Mona asked curiously.

"Perhaps it's because he helped Mondstadt defend against the dragon disaster."

"Perhaps it's because he helped Barbara embark on a Path, making Mondstadt stronger."

"Perhaps it's because he possesses the ability to lead more Mondstadt out of Teyvat."

"So, I've developed a slight fondness for him in my heart."

Lisa shrugged and said leisurely.

Mona: "Are you serious? I thought you were just saying that casually on the forum."

Lisa smiled and said:

"It is casual, but that doesn't mean I won't genuinely fall for Luo Feng."

"After all these years, he's the only man who has made me want to investigate him."

"Isn't there a saying, when a woman becomes curious about a man, it might be the beginning of love."

Mona: "Undeniable, but I don't think someone as rational as you would believe such words."

"Who knows." Lisa's lips curved slightly upwards as she looked at Natasha displayed on the live stream screen.

"Or perhaps, I was too concerned about the woman holding hands with Luo Feng, which is why I said those words."

Lisa said.

"This woman named Natasha?"

"Speaking of which, your voices are quite similar."

"That's strange."

Mona said.

Lisa smiled casually and refocused her attention on Luo Feng.

'Demanding too much knowledge from the gods of Teyvat requires careful consideration of whether one can afford the corresponding price.'

'Sumeru's approach of craving World Tree knowledge is absolutely not advisable.'

'The knowledge contained within a God's Eye is the same. A God's Eye grants mortals the power to change their lives, but the price is still unclear.'

'Compared to the knowledge behind the World Tree and the God's Eye, the knowledge from beyond the Universe that Luo Feng can access seems much safer.'

'Luo Feng also seems trustworthy.'

'The Power of Destiny also has many astonishing aspects.'

'Through the Path and the knowledge from the Universe, perhaps I can truly understand the truth behind the God's Eye and the World Tree.'

Lisa murmured to herself, thinking back to her conversation with Luo Feng when she guided him around Mondstadt.

Lisa: "Luo Feng, why do you want to lead Tivat People to see the Universe outside Teyvat? Someone like you shouldn't really need Teyvat's mora, right?"

Luo Feng: "It seems Miss Lisa is quite worried about my intentions. Don't worry, I have no ill will towards Teyvat. Being a guide is my hobby."

Lisa: "Is that all?"

Luo Feng: "Of course not, I also look forward to seeing what the Tivat People will be like after they embark on a Path."

Lisa: "And why is that?"

Luo Feng smiled mysteriously and said:

"The Teyvat Continent is surrounded by a false sky; the Tivat People have no idea what the real starry sky is."

"That's too much of a shame."

Lisa: "False sky?"

Hearing a term she had never heard before, Lisa's beautiful brows furrowed tightly.

Lisa: "You mean, the starry sky we usually see is false?"

Luo Feng nodded slightly and said:

"Exactly! Although the false sky can be considered a form of protection for Teyvat."

"But in my opinion, this protection is a bit too weak."

Luo Feng looked up at the sky.

His eyes seemed to pierce through the clouds, through the sky, reaching the false sky surrounding Teyvat.

"This protection cannot withstand threats from the Universe."

"Let alone galaxy-level threats."

"Even Planet-level threats, Teyvat probably can't handle."

"The reason why the Teyvat Continent is still safe now."

"Is simply because the Teyvat Continent is sufficiently remote in the Universe."

"And the false sky has a certain concealing effect."

"However, the false sky won't exist forever, and threats from the Universe will eventually set their sights on the Teyvat Continent."

"By then, relying solely on the God's Eye, the Tivat People shouldn't expect to resist those threats from the Universe."

"Even the Seven Gods would be quite powerless against threats from the Universe."

"So I think, letting the Tivat People come into contact with The Power of Destiny before the crisis arrives might be a good idea."

Luo Feng said.
