"We need a plan," she whispered.
Rox's jaw tightened as he scanned the clearing. His sharp eyes took in every detail—the hunters' positions, their weapons, and the layout of the surrounding forest.
"They've boxed us in," he muttered. "But they don't know we're here yet. That's an advantage."
Kara nodded, her mind racing. "We can split up," she suggested. "Draw them away from the cabin."
Rox frowned. "Too risky. They'll try to isolate and pick us off."
"Then what? Wait until they torch the place and drag us out?"
Rox's lips pressed into a thin line. He glanced at her, his expression softening for a moment. "You sure you're ready for this?"
