Damian still did not seem convinced.
"Damian, I will get upset if you keep on being suspicious. Alpha even taught me how to use the gun for self-defense and gives in to all of my little whims. Not only him, but everyone also is very nice to me," Violet expressed. Her hazel eyes stared at Damian in discontentment.
He understood there was no use in bringing his suspicions up in front of Violet. Violet tends to judge everything from her own experience.
"I am sorry. I should have kept a look out for the pack. I knew that Stanley was unreliable, but I didn't think he would side with Mathew entirely. You must have suffered," Damian stated. The guilt was evident in his voice.
Due to his business, Damian was always travelling around— often times being out of the country. And because Damian associated the pack with his father, it was a trauma for him. It made sense for him to ignore everything related to the pack.
