Caliste stared at the enormous slab of rock as though it had personally insulted him. Six times his size? Was this a training session or an execution?
"I don't think that's physically possible," he muttered, crossing his arms.
Albert Siglius snorted, dropping the rock with a ground-shaking thud that echoed through the training grounds. "That's why it's training, not nap time. You wanna be strong, don't you? Strong enough to kill anyone, strong enough to impress all those lady friends of yours? Well, go ahead and give it a try."
When Caliste heard that he wanted to be strong enough to kill anyone, he realized that he needed to do this before it was too late.
He closed his eyes and began focusing on lifting the rock, but then, there was no magical thing that happened to help him this time around. He wasn't even able to make the rock budge.
