"So I just realized you never told us what the system said before we were all thrown into the rift dungeon. So spill." (Anna)
"Damn it I was hoping you would forget about that." (Kyle)
"Sorry, but that won't happen. Besides, I still take notes about things I must remember to ask." (Anna)
"You know, I don't think I've seen you take those said notes." (Justin)
"I write before going to sleep. I have night vision so I can see clearly in the dark." (Anna)
"Anyways, Kyle quit avoiding the topic. I would rather know if going into a rift dungeon is a choice or forced, like it felt for us." (Justin)
[Enter dungeon Y/N.]
[You have selected Y to enter this dungeon. All perceived party members will be forcibly transported into the dungeon with you.]
[Transportation in 3... 2... 1....]
[Transportation complete.]
"So, pretty much if we are a perceived party when entering a rift dungeon, at least we will be forcibly transported to a different realm." (Anna)
"I wonder if we can see if the system can display the status of our group then." (Greyson)
"Dude, this may feel like a game, but don't confuse it for one." (Jusin)
"I wish it were a game instead of reality." (Mark)
Stepping along a nonexistent path. The trees thinned till weeds and grass spread through the area. It flowed through the air like sparks as the brightness changed once more, as Anna covered her eyes from the glare of reflective windows.
"What the Fuck is this place?" (Kyle)
"What do you mean?" (Anna)
"That city didn't exist before all this." (Kyle)
"Ah... Do you think dungeons can become a city?" (Justin)
"Knock on wood!!" (Anna)
"DON'T JINX US!" (Mark, Kyle)
"We're Fucked." (Greyson)
"How badly?" (Anna)
"Can I say we are getting bent over with a razor blade bat?" (Kyle)
"I'd rather not have that image in my head." (Anna)
"I think the city is a monster, not a dungeon, so I think the razor blade bat is putting it nicely." (Greyson)
"Can we just avoid the large red metiphorical sign that says hey we should fuck off." (Mark)
"I'm okay with that, but we have to investigate." (Justin)
"Why?!" (Mark, Kyle)
Mark and Kyle both looked dejected and freaked out. Not surprising though.
[Congratulations on discovering your first secondary evolution quest.]
[Quest type: Rare]
[Difficulty: High]
[Time limit: Three days]
[Quest completion requirement: Find the Dungeon monster core.]
[It's not every day that a group accidentally stumbles upon a living dungeon, let alone one set with an innate quest. Given the power dynamic is one-sided, you are either very lucky or will die a painful death. We will enjoy the show but if anything, we hope your bad luck keeps going.]
"So that... city is a living dungeon?" (Justin)
"Yep we are fucked but we are going through with this aren't we?" (Greyson)
