After half a day…
Deep beneath Sōkyoku Hill, inside the dungeon of the underground training grounds.
"Masatsuki-sama, you're here?"
Roka bowed respectfully before addressing Masatsuki Aozaki.
"Having trouble?"
Masatsuki gave her a small smile.
He had given Roka three days, and there was still plenty of time left.
"Yes, I need your help."
Roka nodded.
"They're being that stubborn?"
Masatsuki frowned.
From what he knew, Candice wasn't likely to betray them outright, but Bambietta was hardly a person of strong conviction.
Back when Giselle Gewelle had turned her into a zombie, the sheer terror on her face had been almost amusing—it was the kind of expression that made people want to bully her.
"The Quincy named Candice wasn't too difficult to handle. She doesn't seem particularly bright."
"With just a little guidance, she spilled everything."
Roka glanced toward Candice's cell, her expression carrying a hint of doubt.
"But I can't be certain whether the information she provided is accurate or reliable."
"And then there's the Quincy named Bambietta."
"No matter what I do to her, she refuses to speak. She won't give up a single piece of information."
"That means I can't cross-check their statements, and I can't guarantee the authenticity of the intel."
"The three-day deadline you gave me might not be enough."
Masatsuki turned his attention toward Bambietta's cell. Even from outside, he could clearly hear the sound of quiet sobbing coming from within.
This wasn't a proper prison.
Technically speaking, it was more of a leisure space—somewhere meant for both relaxation and a bit of entertainment.
Because of that, the isolation measures were simple, and the security wasn't particularly strong.
Masatsuki was a little surprised.
He hadn't expected the real problem to come from the seemingly timid and cowardly Bambietta.
But after some thought, it made sense.
Perhaps because Bambietta was so fearful, she didn't dare to reveal anything.
After all, Yhwach was infamous for his brutality, his ruthlessness, and his complete disregard for human life.
Any subordinate who failed him or outlived their usefulness would be dealt with swiftly—either through excruciating physical punishment or outright execution.
He wouldn't hesitate to kill even those who merely stood in the way of his battles.
Even old man Yamamoto, a former demon of slaughter, had found his methods despicable.
And for a Quincy like Bambietta, that terror ran even deeper.
Because it wasn't just her body at stake—even in death, her soul wouldn't escape.
Yhwach wouldn't care whether she had been coerced or not.
"So… what do you need me to do?"
Masatsuki raised an eyebrow.
He was good at killing. He'd done his fair share of interrogations, too. But a proper one? Not even once.
Sure, he had worked as a guard in the 2nd Division's prison before—but he hadn't been there for long.
And in the end, he had only been a warden.
Interrogations weren't his job.
That's why he had Roka here in the first place.
Roka's expression remained indifferent as her calm voice slowly rang out.
"Although Bambietta still refuses to say anything, based on my observations and judgment, she seems to be afraid of something. That should be the reason for her silence."
Masatsuki Aozaki asked with a hint of doubt, "So, what do you plan to do?"
Roka spoke unhurriedly, "It's simple. If that's the case, we just need to find a way to eliminate her fear."
Masatsuki Aozaki frowned slightly, puzzled. "How? Are you saying I should cheer her on?"
Roka shook her head and continued in the same calm tone, "People often become incredibly brave when they lose their reason and fall into madness. And in those moments, they are most likely to forget their fears."
Masatsuki Aozaki: "?"
Roka continued: "So, Masatsuki-sama, you just need to ruthlessly ravish her."
"Just let her be overwhelmed by pleasure until she loses her senses and reasoning."
"In that case, she won't feel afraid anymore."
Masatsuki Aozaki's mouth twitched slightly, at a loss for words.
"..."
Roka, however, remained unfazed and continued,
"I've already run some tests."
"Her body has an extraordinary talent—she's exactly the type that makes for a perfect plaything."
"And based on my experience, she absolutely won't be able to resist your body."
"So you can go ahead and enjoy yourself without any worries."
Masatsuki Aozaki was utterly speechless, muttering to himself,
"Where did my old, stoic, no-nonsense older sister go?"
"How did she become so open-minded that she can say stuff like this with a straight face?"
"I definitely didn't teach them this when I gave them health education lessons!"
Who the hell turned you into this, Roka?!
Roka glanced at Masatsuki Aozaki.
He pursed his lips, still in disbelief.
Never in his life had he expected that this normally obedient woman could leave him speechless multiple times in a row with just a few words.
Seeing Masatsuki Aozaki remain silent for a long time, Roka thoughtfully offered a second option:
"If you're unwilling, I have other methods. Though the results may not be as effective, I'll need more time…"
"No…"
Masatsuki let out a deep sigh, then straightened his posture. He clasped his hands behind his back, his expression one of solemn resolve. It was as if he were embodying the spirit of "If I don't go to Hell, who will?" With a firm gaze, he spoke slowly:
"The Quincy are the Shinigami's greatest enemies. For the sake of the Seireitei and the future of all Shinigami, I am willing to sacrifice myself for the greater good."
...
Masatsuki followed Roka as they slowly made their way into the dungeon. As soon as they entered, Masatsuki was met with a shocking sight.
Bambietta was tightly bound with a thick, lengthy rope. One end of the rope was firmly secured to a hook on the ceiling. She was suspended high in the air, her body contorted into a challenging position. The pose exuded a unique aesthetic, one that couldn't help but draw admiration.
This was the refined art of shibari, something Masatsuki was intimately familiar with. He had spent two and a half years seeking out masters to learn from. After years of practice and experimentation, he had finally mastered the craft.
Masatsuki took a closer look and noticed that Bambietta's appearance was drastically different from usual. Her once sleek, dark hair was now disheveled, falling haphazardly around her face. Her pristine white military uniform was drenched in sweat, looking utterly disheveled. Her military cap had fallen to the ground at some point.
But what caught his attention most was the strange sphere in her mouth, equipped with small holes for breathing. Clearly, its purpose was to prevent her from biting her tongue in a fit of extreme agitation. It was a form of protection.
Roka is too kind!
Masatsuki shook his head as he observed the Quincy girl before him. This is Roka for you! Just two days of interrogation, and she's already reduced her to this state! He felt a deep sense of satisfaction with Roka's methods. She had truly lived up to his expectations, carrying on his legacy with finesse.
Masatsuki stepped forward and removed the sphere from Bambietta's mouth. Bambietta struggled to open her eyes, her vision blurry but still able to make out the two figures before her. With great effort, she thrashed against her restraints, her eyes burning with rage.
"You damned Shinigami… if you've got the guts, kill me now," she spat through gritted teeth, her voice hoarse and weak. "Otherwise, when His Majesty awakens, and you fall into my hands… I'll make you suffer a hundred times the humiliation you've put me through."
Her eyes were fierce, as if she had already imagined every detail of how she would torture Masatsuki. Then, her gaze shifted to Roka, and a twisted smile spread across her face.
"And you… you're fond of this Shinigami, aren't you? When I rape him, I'll make sure you watch!"
Her tone dripped with cruel malice. Roka stood quietly to the side, silently observing Bambietta, completely unfazed by her venomous words. Isn't it normal to stand by and watch?
Bambietta, frustrated by Roka's indifference, shot her a vicious glare before turning her attention back to Masatsuki.
"You bastard… one day, I'll make you beg for mercy at my feet. And right in front of you, I'll kill everyone you care about… one… by… one!"
Masatsuki's eyes narrowed slightly, a cold glint in his gaze.
"Roka, let's have some fun with this new toy."
A faint smile played on his lips, tinged with mockery and cruelty.
"Yes, Masatsuki-sama."
Masatsuki's gaze lingered on Bambietta, as if appraising an intriguing plaything. Roka nodded and, under Bambietta's terrified stare, stepped closer to her.
