Third person point of view
It was finally the weekend. Aravind's parents went to attend a wedding. They left on Saturday evening. Both the brothers couldn't go with them. Aravind couldn't go because of the project and Atharva already had a trip planned with his team members in the office. Atharva was ready to leave on Sunday morning.
He put all his things together and walked out with his bike keys. He went to the door and opened it to find Dev walking towards him. " Hey ". Dev greeted first. " Hey ". Atharva greeted back. Dev walked inside and went directly to Aravind's room. He did know Atharva would also go on a trip but he didn't know when.
He heard the water splashing and sat on the bed to wait for Aravind. Atharva parked his bike towards the inside of the house and covered it. He walked back inside and went to his room. He called his colleague asking where he was. He replied the would be there soon and Atharva hung up the call.
In the other room, Aravind walked out of the bathroom in a towel and was startled to see Dev sitting on his bed. " What are you doing here ? " He asked, walking closer. Dev pulled Aravind, throwing him on the bed. Aravind was startled. " Aye, aye. No. No way. Get off me ". Aravind struggled trying to get Dev off him.
Dev chuckled and pressed him down. He kissed Aravind with his wrists pinned on the bed. Aravind was baffled. Dev then kissed his neck. Aravind came out of the daze and tried to push Dev away. " Fucker... get off ". Dev chuckled seeing Aravind trying to push him off. He did not let him go though.
Atharva put the keys away. He put his bags in the living room. He frowned thinking he was forgetting something and walked to his room again. He saw the keys hanging and remembered. He took out the house key to give it to Aravind. He went to Aravind's room and the door was slightly open.
He pushed it without much thought and the scene left him flabbergasted. The keys in his hand dropped along with his jaw. The two on the bed were shook. They froze in place too. Dev quickly got off Aravind and Aravind also stood up, tying his towel properly. Atharva blinked and composed himself.
He picked up the keys and pointed at Dev. " You. Come out right now ". He then pointed at Aravind. " You. Dress up and then come out ". Dev walked out obediently and went to the living room. Atharva sat on the chair and Dev looked like a child who got caught doing something wrong.
He was also super nervous. His back was getting all sweaty and he kept rubbing his palms on his thighs. Aravind walked out dressed and went to sit beside Dev on the sofa. Atharva leaned forward. " Care to explain what that was ? " Aravind opened his mouth but Atharva looked at him with sharp eyes.
" If you dare say you were wrestling, I will fucking break your legs ". Aravind shut his mouth. Dev was surprised that that was really his excuse. He decided to speak up. " We both are dating ". Aravind waited for his brother to go berserk. But Atharva took a few seconds and just nodded, looking rather calm. " Okay ".
" That's it ? " Aravind asked. Atharva cocked an eyebrow. " What else do you want ? Do you want me to yell at you and say it is not right and all that bullshit ? " It was now their turn to be surprised. " I don't care about things like that. As long as you are happy. And that also explains the scene I just saw ". Aravind smiled. " Thank you anna ".
" This is one awesome way of coming out though ". Atharva commented and the both of them looked away feeling embarrassed as hell. Atharva snickered. He heard a car honk and got up. He picked up his bag, ready to leave. He turned to Dev. " I hope you will keep him happy. If you break his heart, I am going to break something of yours ". Dev gulped hard and nodded.
Atharva was someone who worked out more than him and was good at kickboxing and even better at fighting. There is no way he would want to confront him. Atharva opened the door and stepped outside but walked in again. He gave the key to Aravind. He forgot about it due to the shock he just received.
" I don't care what you do as long as you don't do it anywhere else except your room. I will hunt you both if I have the slightest of doubt that you might've done it ". Aravind blushed hard. " Get lost. Go. That guy is waiting ". Dev chuckled. " Don't ". Atharva warned one last time and left. Aravind locked the door.
The both of them plopped down on the sofa. " This is something else now. I don't even know what happened ". Aravind said and turned to Dev. " Me too ". Dev replied and both of them laughed. Aravind let out a long breath. " Well... we have one person on our side ". Dev nodded. He put his hand around Aravind's shoulder. Aravind smiled.
Their day was over as they worked on the project. The situation somehow reversed and it was Dev's turn to stay at Aravind's house with him as he was going to be alone. Aravind had dinner with Dev's family and they both came back after that . They spent some time watching television before going to sleep.
They were both sleeping on Aravind's bed while facing each other. Dev smiled. " It is crazy how our first kiss and first proper kiss are both in your house ". Aravind laughed. " Right ". " Let's sleep. We have to go to college tomorrow ". Dev said and Aravind closed his eyes. Dev also did and they fell asleep.
