"What do you mean Roxanna?" Lily asks after spitting the tea out and then coughs.
"Its just as I have said Lily our daughter has dark." Roxanna says coldly but calmly.
"But that doesn't make sense if it's Gray it makes sense him having dark hair but...!" Lily says loudly but she is stopped by her friend.
"Raul had test done on her and she was confirmed to be our daughter but…." Roxanna trails off as she remembers the test results.
"But what Roxanna? You need to tell me it can also explain why my Gray is different from his sisters. Please." Lily begs her friend to tell her what she knows.
"When we had taken to one off our people's hospital, it was found that she has a high concentration of lion genes." Roxanna explains to Lily looking at her tea.
"Lion genes?" Lily asks dumbfounded.
"The lion genes is only found among the children of the Leonhard household. It is one of the several beast genes found among the ancestral clans." Roxanna explains and then takes a sip from her cup.
"How does the lion gene affect the color of our children's hair?" Lily asks not satisfied with Roxanna's explanation.
"Unlike Raul and Julian who had just a normal amount of lion genes in there DNA. Our children have an abnormally high number of the genes in there DNA." Roxanna says and just when Lily was about to say anything else she stops her by raising her hand.
"And you should also know the former patriarch was told about it." Roxanna says as she looks straight at Lily eyes to see how she would react on hearing that her father-in-law knew about their children's condition. And just as she thought, Lily was shocked on hearing about the old lion knowing about her child's state.

"How did he take the news?" Lily asks shaken by this new development.
"He simply smiled and laughed out loud like a mad man. He also said that he can't wait to finally his grand kids." Roxanna says calmly with her eyes closed as she takes another sip of the tea.
"I don't like the sound of that." Lily says than takes a sip of the tea slightly relieved that the former wasn't angry but still feared that he was excited to meet both hers and Roxanna's child.
"But that's not the most shocking thing yet." Roxanna says as her cup is refilled with fresh tea by one of the servants who was standing near them ready to serve at any point in time.
"There is more!? What could it be this time?" Lily says now eager to know what else Roxanna knows.
"Do you remember my husband's younger sister?" Roxanna asks calmly.
"How can I forget about sister when she is the one that supported us me when I lost my Julian in the war?" Lily says. The sister they were talking about was the only biological sister who was related to Julian since were from the same mother. She is also the second last child among the four siblings. It was said that she never returned to The Garden of Lions of her older brother and currently lives in another continent.
"Did anything happen to her?" Lily asks worried that something might have happened to her closest in-law.
"Nothing bad happened to her but…." Roxanna trails off and her cup is left midair near her lips.
"But what? Roxanna you need to tell me." Lily says now more worried as her friend trailed off just when she was about to tell her what happened to the young lady of the Leonhard household who was just as close to her just as she is with Roxanna.
"Don't worry she is okay but it's more about her child." Roxanna says taking a sip.
"Her child?" Lily asks confused since the young lady of the first wife of the former patriarch had three children just like her. However she had two sons and one daughter but one son and the daughter were twins just like Lily's daughters and a lastborn son.
"Am talking about her last child." Roxanna explains to Lily.
"What happened to her son?" Lily asks worried about her what might have happened to her nephew who was the same age as Gray.
"I don't know how we all got mingled in the same situation but…..her son also has dark hair." Roxanna says calmly. Lily is shocked, and wouldn't she be since it's not just her and Roxanna but also there sister-in-law's child has dark hair.
"How is this possible? If it is us someone can say there might have been something from the war that caused our children to be born with the same hair color since we were together during the war period. But now its sisters. This is definitely something normal." Lily says not remembering her tea is getting cold.
"And just as I said when we went to have our daughter tested it was found that she had a high concentration of lion genes. It could be the cause of all this." Roxanna says calming her friend down. Lily calms down and drinks her tea and once she is done a servant refills her cup with more tea. After a duration of awkward silence between the two friends who are taking sips of their tea….
"What else does this lion genes do apart from the change in hair color?" Lily asks.
"We are not sure. And when my husband asked his father he was told that it has been over three hundred years since a person from the family was born with dark hair." Roxanna says with a sigh.
"I have decided." Lily says abruptly.
"What have you decided?" Roxanna ask with curiosity
"I will research on the lion genes and also the other beast genes to know more what our children will be going through in the future to come." Lily says with an air of determination.
"That's what I would I would like to hear from you miss professor." Roxanna say with a smile looking at her friend who was one of the kingdoms brilliant minds and one of the youngest at that. Lily smiles to her compliment.
"Oh!" Roxanna exclaims and places her hand on her mouth. This makes the servant look stunned wondering what could be wrong.
"What's wrong Roxanna?" Lily asks.
"I nearly forgot to tell you that sister Eunhyang was coming today." Roxanna says remembering about their sister.
Just then a woman in a beautiful black hanfu with a lion design is seen walking along the hallway of the mansions hallway and stops in front of the room where Gray and his cousin are. The woman smiles broadly as she places her hands on the doors handle opening the doors.
