After a few more seconds to think, Aurora decided to check:
"Aurora Spencer, you are an utterly wicked woman. The most wicked I have ever encountered. How could you put my uncle in jail and ignore my father's plea when you know you could help him easily? I hope you get your punishment! Karma is a bitch, bitch!"
'What the hell is this, Lucas Spencer!? How could he curse me like that?'
After reading her cousin's text message, Aurora feels like her blood is boiling. Now, she regrets letting herself check the message and becomes angry. It disturbed her emotional well-being.
Putting aside her cell phone, she lay back on the sofa, trying to rest her eyes, but the blaring timer from her phone woke her up.
"Young madam, what's going on?" Tina asked with concern, noting that Aurora seemed annoyed. She stepped closer and gently asked again, "Why didn't you rest first?"
"I'm doing well, Aunty. But I need to work right now."
