Aurora turned to look at Josh, feeling helpless.
"Yeah, looks like!" Josh responded. He was also surprised to see Patrick standing in the lobby, likely waiting for them.
Josh's response doesn't quite help Aurora feel at ease; instead, she feels a knot twisting in her stomach as nerves take hold.
All she can do is take a deep breath, hoping to ease her anxiety a little before she quickly steps out of the car.
Patrick's warm smile framed his face as he greeted Aurora playfully.
"Good morning, Aurora. Welcome to the Stardust Group..." Patrick paused when he noticed her annoyed expression.
Despite Aurora's visible annoyance, Patrick pressed on, saying, "I feel honored to greet you this early morning on your first day. I hope you enjoy your internship." His smile grew wider, yet Aurora remained unimpressed with him.
It wasn't just Aurora who felt slightly uneasy about this reception; Josh thought it, too.
