He was smiling and his eyes had a twinkle in them as he watched me in silence.

It was such a wonder how he pulled out every detail so effortlessly.
"I was hoping we'd spend some time together today." He announced and that was when a female servant pushed in a food carriage. Actually, it wasn't real food but baked ones and it was paired with candies.
My face began to scrunch in distaste before I could even react.
"What's the problem? Why is your face like that." Lanzon openly pointed and I shifted my gaze to him.
"Baked food isn't good for my health," I dropped the information in a heartbeat. And for a moment, he held my gaze in shock. When he parted his lips to speak, no word came out.
