"God King? Hmph, how does your strength compare to the Ōtsutsuki God?
Arrogant god of an alien civilization—perhaps you are strong, but you have never truly faced the Ōtsutsuki God. You will never understand your own weakness.
And yet you dare ask me to serve you? How laughable. Before the main house of the Ōtsutsuki arrives, you should flee while you still can. Otherwise, once they discover the coordinates of your homeland, you will live to regret it."
Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, though a prisoner, spoke with an air of arrogance that made Ye Wen's brows twitch in irritation.
Who exactly was being arrogant here?
You, a princess of a branch family, were exiled and sentenced to execution. Not only that, but you were sealed away by your own children, unable to fulfill your ambitions. And yet you dare speak to me like this? Do you really think you're an immortal member of the main house?
Ye Wen exhaled deeply. As expected, the world shaped by the "small island" mindset carried an infuriatingly condescending quality.
At this moment, Ye Wen abandoned his polite demeanor, unleashing a surge of overwhelming divine might.
Even through several kilometers of geological layers, the immense energy fluctuation shocked Ōtsutsuki Hamura on the moon's surface, causing him to emerge from his statue.
"What terrifying power! This far surpasses Mother's strength back then. Please, do not anger this mighty being, Mother. Otherwise, this entire world may be erased."
For a moment, Hamura, who had initially planned to give up, grew deeply troubled.
Meanwhile, Ye Wen's divine aura jolted Kaguya out of her self-pitying despair.
This level of power far exceeded anything Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had ever known.
Seeing Ye Wen withdraw his overwhelming presence once more, Kaguya cautiously ventured a question.
"Great One, could it be that you have reached the level of the Ōtsutsuki God?"
"I do not know what level of strength you refer to as the Ōtsutsuki God. Now, open your mind, and I will transmit the knowledge of my power system into your consciousness. Judge for yourself," Ye Wen said calmly.
At the godly level, communication through divine consciousness was possible, though it was usually limited to shallow exchanges and required both parties to share the same language.
Deeper divine consciousness communication could bypass this limitation, allowing the other party to fully understand one's meaning.
However, doing so would be akin to exposing oneself completely before the other—a vulnerability no god-level being would willingly accept.
From their earlier conversation, Kaguya already understood Ye Wen's ambition. This man intended to strike at the Ōtsutsuki clan.
If he were from a normal civilization, unless pushed to the brink of despair, he would never betray his own people—for they held his attachments.
But the Ōtsutsuki clan had no such ties.
In that moment, Kaguya recalled the betrayal of her clansmen, the betrayal of her children, and her own despair before death a thousand years ago.
"Very well, Great One. I am ready."
Kaguya's voice carried a sense of resignation, as if she had become a lifeless puppet at the mercy of others.
As Ye Wen transmitted the ranking system of the Soul Master civilization into Kaguya's mind, he inevitably gained insight into some of her thoughts as well.
"Hate—why—you—unwilling—ah!—revenge—what to do, what to do—I don't want to die!"
Wave after wave of negative emotions surfaced in Ye Wen's consciousness.
This woman, who appeared calm and composed on the outside, harbored a heart filled with frenzied hatred and deep-seated fear.
Just as Ye Wen had come to understand Kaguya's true thoughts, Kaguya began analyzing the Soul Master civilization developed on Douluo Star.
For a moment, silence hung between them.
"So, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, will you lend me your aid?
Once our mission is complete, you may join my Soul Master civilization. You can live a peaceful life in the rear, and even preserve a portion of your clan to rebuild and flourish.
Low risk, high reward—I imagine you won't refuse, will you?"
Having uncovered Kaguya's true thoughts, Ye Wen knew she was merely masking her inner panic and insecurity with cold indifference.
As long as he provided her with security and everything she desired, it would be easy to win her over.
Kaguya still did not immediately agree, instead falling silent for a long while.
But Ye Wen was in no rush to press her. The balance of negotiation had already tipped in his favor. Kaguya's agreement was only a matter of time—unless she wished to seek her own demise.
"Sigh~"
A mournful voice echoed through the pitch-black depths of the moon's core, followed by Kaguya's response.
"I agree, Great Vast Sea God King.
I will provide you with intelligence and assistance regarding the Ōtsutsuki clan. I only ask that you spare a portion of the Ōtsutsuki bloodline, allowing us to safely continue our lineage."
A faint smile tugged at the corner of Ye Wen's lips as he murmured, "The deal is struck. Let us go."
Before Kaguya could react, Ye Wen simply waved his hand, instantly dispelling the twisted Six Paths energy that had been entangled around her.
When Kaguya regained awareness, she found herself teleported alongside Ye Wen to the moon's surface.
Imprisoned for a thousand years, suddenly facing the world again left Kaguya momentarily stunned, her brows furrowing slightly.
"Welcome to the ninja world, a thousand years later."
Ye Wen's voice rang in Kaguya's ears, drawing her gaze toward him.
He was a humanoid being like herself, without horns or the Byakugan, yet he appeared unexpectedly pleasing to the eye. Upon closer inspection, he was undeniably a strikingly handsome man.
As someone who valued appearances, Kaguya couldn't help but blush.
Unfortunately, Ye Wen felt nothing for Kaguya. Though she was indeed a beauty scoring 90 out of 100, her dotted eyebrows and pale complexion did not suit his taste.
Kaguya's overall appearance was modeled after the noblewomen of ancient Japan.
Overall, she carried a somewhat eerie "small island" vibe. Fortunately, Kishimoto had realized blackened teeth were too ugly and hadn't added that trait to Kaguya, or the character would have been utterly shredded by critics.
"Greetings, Great Vast Sea God King." Kaguya gave Ye Wen a slight bow, careful not to overstep.
After all, the gap in their power was immense.
Moreover, based on Ye Wen's ranking system, this handsome man undoubtedly stood at the level of the legendary Ōtsutsuki God. As a discarded princess of a branch family, even having consumed a Divine Tree fruit, she had no grounds to act arrogantly.
After all, she knew her own limitations.
Kaguya understood she lacked talent in combat. Her current strength was entirely built upon the external power of the Divine Tree fruit. Should she encounter an opponent of equal standing, her death would be both inevitable and humiliating.
