Chapter 132 - Chapter:132 Fathers Love

Chapter:132

Title: Fathers love

Theme: Soundscape to ardor Part III

The room was dim, the only light trickling through the tall, frost-covered windows of Minister Ivar's secluded home in Greenland. The fireplace glowed softly, casting long shadows across the regal bed where Minister Ivar lay nestled beside his wife and their five-year-old son, Daniel.

But the stillness broke.

A flicker in the darkness.

A presence.

Ivar's eyes snapped open.

He sat upright in bed, his breath short and quick as he instinctively reached across, pulling his son into his arms. His wife rose beside him, alarmed by his sudden tension.

Standing at the foot of the bed, relaxed and perched casually on the window ledge, was Huey the Second—his pale skin almost blending with the moonlight, his grin painted across his face like a stitched-on scar.

"Daddy duties, huh?" Huey cooed softly, swinging his legs like a child. "Protective instincts? Interesting. I've heard of them, but never really… felt them myself nor experienced it, your son must be lucky"

He tilted his head, peering at the child with a strange fondness.

"Pretty boy, that one. Don't worry, I'd never want to harm your son… well, unless I have to."

Ivar tightened his grip on Daniel. "What do you want, Huey?"

Huey's smile widened. "Simple. But I have this feeling… you're going to make it difficult."

He dropped from the ledge with feline grace and took a few slow steps toward the bed.

"I want the location of the remaining pieces of Yggdrasil . All of them."

His voice darkened. "You see, I failed my Lord once… I won't fail him again."

Ivar's face paled. "I cannot… tell you that. What you seek… it will bring the world to its knees. Yggdrasil was never meant to be used for such—"

"Oh, stop it," Huey snapped, waving a hand dismissively. "You talk like you know what it is. A gift from the Gods, and humans buried it, hoarded it, lied about it." His voice turned mocking. "We're nothing but borrowers, Minister. Always were."

He took another step forward, now standing at the edge of the bed. His eyes shimmered like the edge of a blade.

"Must I force it out of you in front of your son? That doesn't seem very fatherly, does it?" His voice grew colder. "Or shall I kill your wife and child, and then you'll speak?"

The room trembled with silence.

Atop the rooftop…

The icy wind danced along the shingles of the minister's home.

Silas Moraku stood tall beneath the pale starlight, arms folded behind him, his shadow spilling unnaturally across the rooftop. Beside him, Jabo, one of the Omegas, kept his hands pressed together, eyes closed in deep concentration.

Silas glanced at him. "This technique… how does it work, exactly?"

Jabo's voice was soft and reverent. "Void Creation: Cemetery Technique. I access the void… and pull a thin layer of it around a space. What happens inside… can't be sensed, seen, or even remembered by the outside world. Not even Shen pulses escape it."

Silas smiled faintly. "Beautiful. Pure isolation."

He turned. "I'll check on Huey."

Without warning, Silas leapt backward, flipping off the roof in eerie silence. His shadow flared like wings as he descended, shattering through the second-floor glass window and landing effortlessly inside the room Huey occupied.

Huey didn't even flinch. His eyes shifted sideways with casual irritation.

"I thought I told you to stay up there with Jabo," he said, still staring at Ivar.

Silas shrugged. "I got bored. Wanted to see how our little interrogation was going."

He walked toward the bed, gaze fixed on the trembling child and mother. "Is he not talking yet? I could… eliminate the boy. Give him some motivation?"

Huey raised a hand calmly. "No."

He turned to Ivar again. "Last chance. Be the man your son believes you are."

Silence.

Then—Minister Ivar whispered, voice broken.

"…Fine."

He began to speak, slowly but clearly, listing the precise locations where each fragment of the Yggdrasil Tree was hidden—guarded relics scattered across nations, each protected by barriers and Hunter elite, entrusted only to SUHA's highest tier.

Huey listened closely, memorizing every syllable.

When Ivar finished, Huey gave a soft, sad smile.

"Ah love the most Dangerous leash in the world, Love makes you do strange things. Sacrifices you never imagined. For those you care about…" His gaze sharpened.

"…Or should I say—those your heart still beats for."

Then—

THWUMP!

A glowing rod of blackened metal formed in the air—manifested from the void like a divine spear. Without hesitation, it fired forward with brutal precision, slamming through Ivar's skull and pinning him to the wall like a butterfly on display.

SHHHLLT!

Blood gushed in slow drips down the wall. The fireplace flickered.

Ivar's wife screamed, lunging forward, grabbing a knife from the nightstand—only to freeze mid-motion, her body suspended unnaturally in the air.

Her limbs wouldn't move.

Silas had locked her in place, his hand subtly outstretched.

Huey walked past her casually and knelt in front of Daniel, the boy staring blankly at the wall, too young to process the horror around him.

Huey whispered gently, brushing the boy's hair aside.

"One day, little Daniel… you'll thank me. For making you heartless."

He stood up, gave one last look at the destruction.

Then he turned to Silas.

"Let's go."

Dawn — Seoul Airport

The sun rose over the icy skyline of Seoul as wind turbines hummed and helicopters circled overhead. The tarmac was abuzz with movement.

A military-grade black jet sat on the runway, its side marked with the insignia of the Hunter Association.

Standing before it were five elite figures—handpicked by Mujin himself.

Madagascar, cold-eyed and dressed in froststeel armor.

Tito, his fists already wrapped and steaming, Asger as well

Chiro, silent and poised like a shadow.

Vincent, blade sheathed, sunglasses gleaming.

Their destination: Greenland.

Their mission: Protect Sakamoto. Protect the truth.

As the plane roared to life and the group boarded, the sky above them darkened with distant storm clouds.

None of them knew the horrors that had already begun.
