"Kazuma, don't do anything stupid. Follow me to Master Tengen right now. Maybe you'll get another chance to come back in the future."
Yaga casually threw out two cursed corpses and shouted, "Don't resist anymore, Kazuma!"
Looking up, Kazuma stood in the air, holding a Rasengan in his hand, ready to launch.
His face flushed with anger as he looked down and roared, "How ridiculous! Who was the one who dealt with the numerous curses in Shibuya? Who was the one who killed the three disaster curses?"
"Where were the higher ups when I was desperately fighting Sukuna? Where were they when Sukuna nearly cut me to pieces?!"
"And now, they want to throw me into prison for life just because I damaged a few buildings?"
"Screw the senior executives! Those old men are nothing. They think they can restrict my freedom? Me, Kazuma?!"
With that, Kazuma hurled the Rasengan without hesitation.
"Careful!"
Yuki quickly created a barrier, shielding everyone.
Boom!
As the Rasengan exploded, white light engulfed the entire courtyard, shaking half of Jujutsu High.
By the time the energy had subsided, Kazuma was gone.
In the ruins below, the students and teachers clutched their chests, coughing from the shockwave.
Outside the school, the two spies stood frozen, their legs trembling.
They had heard of Kazuma's power, but witnessing it firsthand was something else entirely.
One of them snapped back to reality and said, "They really couldn't stop Kazuma!"
"Did you get it all on record?"
"Yeah. Let's go. I don't wanna be in this damn place a second longer."
As they hurried away, a crow flapped its wings and landed in the courtyard.
Mei Mei slowly opened her eyes and said, "The spies are gone."
At that, everyone exhaled in relief.
Yuki sighed, looking at where Kazuma had disappeared.
"Tsk, tsk… I never knew Kazuma was such a good actor."
"Especially that last bit when he cursed the higher-ups. That was satisfying."
Nobara nodded thoughtfully and said, "Yeah, if Kazuma ever quits being a sorcerer, he should try acting."
Yaga said, "Well, now that the prison realm is with Kazuma, we don't have to worry about the higher-ups scheming against us."
"You can help Shoko for now and see if there's any way to unseal the Prison Realm. If that doesn't work, we'll have to ask Master Tengen."
Yaga sighed and turned away.
Panda looked at him in confusion and asked, "Dad, where are you going?"
Yaga waved a hand dismissively and said, "I am going to find old man Gakuganji. I want to have a drink, and unwind."
Hearing this, Panda frowned and asked, "Why do I feel like he's hiding something?"
...
Early morning
Shibuya
On an empty street, a scarred boy stood alone.
He already knew the higher-ups' decision. During the Shibuya Incident, Kenjaku had force-fed him dozens of fingers.
Counting the ones he had swallowed before, that made fifteen. At this moment, he fully understood how dangerous he was.
Sukuna's presence inside him was growing harder to suppress. He was like a bomb, ready to explode at any moment.
If Kazuma hadn't been there during Shibuya, who knows how many more would have died?
Even if he hadn't been the one killing people, his body was still being used to do it. Yuji, always kind at heart, couldn't accept that.
He had considered staying with Kazuma. But once he heard about the execution order against him, he made his decision.
He didn't want to die but he didn't want to drag them down, either.
Now, all he could do was take out as many curses as possible before losing control.
Looking around at the empty, ruined streets, Yuji took a deep breath.
Then, he clapped his hands together, determination flashing in his eyes.
Bang!
A sharp clap broke the eerie silence of the morning.
Behind him, the ocean surged.
Giant cursed spirits burst from the water, creating massive waves.
Yuji didn't hesitate. He sprinted forward, dodging the cursed spirits lunging at him.
These grotesque creatures, sensing a human nearby, charged at him like starving beasts. But their low intelligence blinded them to the truth.
The one they thought was prey… was actually the hunter.
In a dark underground parking garage, Yuji stopped running.
He took a deep breath and shouted, "Divergent Fist!"
The powerful voice echoed through the dimly lit structure.
A pair of eyes snapped open in the shadows.
They gleamed with an icy sharpness as blood-red cursed energy flared.
Whoosh!
A blinding red streak cut through the darkness—compressed blood flashing like a laser.
The beam shot forward, piercing through the cursed spirits one by one—like a skewer through candied fruit.
