In the Great Yann World, Chen Jichuan often saw snow, but Chen Shaohu couldn't contain his excitement. Watching the snow descend from the sky and the world turn completely white, he found everything novel and fascinating.
Since entering the Black Prison, he hadn't seen snow again.

"Let's go outside and build snowmen!"
It was the third time Chen Shaohu urged him.
Pacing back and forth outside the house, he looked eager to try.
Chen Jichuan glanced out the window to see the snowflakes covering the ground. However, it was only a thin layer—likely not enough to build a snowman. He called out to Chen Shaohu, "There's not much snow yet. Let's wait a bit longer."
"Oh."
Chen Shaohu let out a disappointed sigh in response. He then sat cross-legged near the outer edge of the room, gazing at the snow. As he watched, the gloomy feelings faded, and his eyes brimmed with joy.
Chen Jichuan chuckled lightly.
