I named the man with the tied-back hair Nova.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintances," he said with a polite bow. "I only hope to work diligently for the Lord."
He wasn't the loud type—or a man of many words—but when I met him yesterday, I had this feeling we'd get along just fine.
Like the Demon Wolves, Nova had enough power to catch my attention, but there was also a quiet melancholy in his eyes.
Well, they were new, after all. And not everyone's like Trigger and the others who started off with all that lively energy.
Standing beside him was a red-haired lady who looked like she was in her late twenties.
Unlike Nova, she radiated intensity with a fiery gleam in her eyes.
"This one is called Phoenix," she said with gusto. "A wonderful name gifted to this one by the Supreme Lord. It is this one's privilege. This one hopes to serve to the best of her abilities!"
And there you have it.
Her sharp green eyes flashed, she smiled, bowed, and stepped back.
